Dr. Noah Benjamin Kohn, MD

I recently delivered my third child and was assigned Dr. Kohn as my child’s pediatrician. My first meeting with the Dr was unpleasant. He was rather condescending and spoke to me like I was an unprepared first time mom. He decided to take it upon himself to teach me how to swaddle my baby and spoke to me as though I’d never had a baby before, mind you my older kids were right there with me. My second visit with the Dr the next day is what sealed the deal and is forcing me to write this review. He came into my room to evaluate my baby and decided that due to a faulty infrared thermometer reading, followed by an accurate under-arm thermometer reading, that my baby was sick with gbs and needed to have vials of blood drawn and blood cultures done. He explained we would possibly need to go to the nicu and stay even longer for a further evaluation. He went on to say he had already taken it upon himself to order the lab work to be done ASAP and that someone from the lab would be coming up… shortly to take my son. A complete overreaction on his part!! After that visit the nurses in l&d were informed that he was not to enter my room again and that we needed a new pediatrician for our son, stat! Once we met with the new pediatrician, explained the situation, she agreed that Dr. Kohn was out of line and that my son was perfectly fine. We had an evaluation with the neonatal dr and she agreed he was out of line and that my son was perfectly fine and cleared to leave the hospital. The stress, confusion, anger, and worry that Dr. Kohn caused me and my family was uncalled for and I wouldn’t wish that sort of treatment on anyone. I do not recommend him at all!

Talks down to you and belittles you. Not what I would want for myself or anyone I care about. Horrible experience.

He is amazing!

In the first 5 minutes of our visit to dr kohn, with a 5 month old with a fever, he used the words spinal tap, ecoli and death twice.he jumped to extreme conclusions and failed to properly insert a cathader, possibly causing more harm. He doesn't answer questions directly but rather babbled around the semantics of medical terminology to cover up his inadequacies. A true night mare for us and our daughter.
