Dr. Noah Bertrand Simons, MD

If you're looking for saccharine small talk, you won't find it here, but what you will find is a very good doctor who loves children. He has spent a lot of time thinking through every detail (separate sick and well child entrances and waiting rooms, moving train sets, rocking animals, fish, mylar balloons, etc.). I can get an appointment easily, often on the same day and he is "hi-tech" (available by email, emailable graphs & patient info). My young children love him and frequently request to go back even when they are well. He knows them by name and treats them with a lot of respect. We've been very lucky with the few pediatricians we've had in SF (including Dr. Langston), but we've stuck with Dr. Simons because his office works for our family. He's smart, young, and continues to look for ways to improve his office, which is the best run doctor's office I've ever encountered. He also recently became a dad himself and I believe that will make him an even better pediatrician. He… also has a background in alternative medicine which I also like.
