Dr. Noel Peter Defelippo, MD

Dr. Noel DeFelippo operated on me May 2 at NSMC. The operation was scheduled to start at 2 pm, but commenced at 6. May be this delay was an omen of things to follow. I was seriously concerned that he wouldn't provide the attention, patience or time necessary to make my operation a success. I was unfortunately correct, by May 9 I was bleeding profusely from the scrotum. This caused a great inconvenience for me, because I had to change the bandaging 5 times a day. This went on for the next month and 10 office visits later before the drainage cleared and began to heal. This took time and treasure from me, but served to benefit him. To say the least, this was a very horrible unpleasant experience. I would recommend you seek another urologist who has the patients best interest at hand and not his piggy bank.

God help you if you are in pain. Seen for testicular pain and even though he said you must be in Terrible pain, said I had a testicular torsion sent me home with Motrin . Went right to Beverly hospital they admitted me right away and started pain meds in emergency room as soon as scans came cback showing there was a torsion

I think Dr. Noel Defelippo is a real professional doctor and gentleman with excellent bed side manors, but beyond that my observation of his practice and the very little time spent on my situation with him at the Salem facility is less than acceptable to me. I expected just a little more time and better understanding of my problem with each visit with him for me to better understand what I might expect from the process of medicine he prescribes to me. My conversations with the pharmacy tech has given me more knowledge on the Med's than the doctor, simply put, he is way to busy and over booked, last visit he said, he already had seen 40 patients before me and that explains the hour plus waits I've had for some of my appointments and quick visits with me when I finally get called in to see him.
