Dr Maydew is kind and professional. I’ve been her patient for all my care nearing and during menopause. She helped me understand all that was happening. Offering kindness and support. She makes me feel I’m her only patient and that she genuinely cares about how I am- the whole me. I appreciate her.

Maydew was very cold and refused to answer questions. She also seemed to be on something. Very shaky and rude to me.

I moved to Cary couple years ago and was looking for OBGYN who could help me with the issue i was having for last few years. My PCP referred me to Dr. Maydew knowing her expertise in the area. Dr. Maydew is very thorough, easy to talk to and she has had alot of success in her area of medicine. I had to go through surgery which was long over due and it was successful with zero complication. I am glad to have her as my OBGYN. I would highly recommend Dr. Maydew.

Dr. Maydew got me in and out in a day for a short procedure to remove my fibroids. I was down for about 1-2 days and then right back to work. Pain wasn't bad at all. It felt like bad cramps for the first day. Her nurse Barbara is also super awesome!! Very friendly and always there when you need them!

My husband and I have been TTC for 2 years now. I am 31 years old and have high grade squamous intraepithelial lesion caused by HPV. Dr. Maydew has been my doctor for about 5+ years and is very to the point with facts and very extreme possibilities to the point of scaring her patients. She never tries to persuade you but is very clinical in her bedside manner. I asked about fertility options when I was 29 and she told me to hold off until I was 30 before discussing anything further which is in direct contrast to her saying (and I quote) 'I'd like to see you pregnant by 30 to limit risk to you and the baby'. I have been searching for another doctor that is friendly and supportive of my questions. I feel as though she has been far removed from the patient experience that there is a cold nature to her exams.
