We are so grateful to Dr. Nolan Karp for performing a necessary breast reduction on our 24-year-old daughter, who has cerebral palsy. Dr. Karp was the fourth doctor we consulted. While others gave us the runaround and wasted our time (clearly hesitant due to her condition), Dr. Karp immediately understood the need and didn't hesitate to say yes. His entire team at the East 47th Street office is phenomenal. Each visit we were warmly greeted by Elise, who was incredibly kind and welcoming. His NP, Brooke, provided constant, professional pre- and post-op support, always quick to answer our daughter’s many questions and concerns. Dr. Karp is a highly skilled surgeon with a direct, down-to-earth approach that we deeply appreciated. He put my daughter completely at ease with his frankness, confidence, and humor. He is compassionate and committed to his patients. Our surgical experience at NYU Langone was also top-notch and fully accessible, utilizing a Hoyer lift for safe transfers. Dr. Nolan Karp is an excellent surgeon who is compassionate and cares about his patients. He performed a flap breast reconstruction on me and did an excellent job. He and his physician's assistant Brooke took the time to explain the procedure, and answer all my questions, and make me feel at ease before and after surgery. He has a great beside manner and is always smiling. He even takes the time to call his patients the day before surgery to check on you. All of his staff do a great job.

I recently had breast reduction surgery with Dr. Karp. I cannot say enough nice things about him and his staff. He has a very nice bedside manner and is such a wonderful surgeon. I am about to turn 60 years old and my good friend convinced me to finally get breast reduction surgery. She recommended Dr. Karp for 3 years and although I was frightened and was not sure what to expect, I sent to see the doctorin February. I am so glad I FINALLY got the surgery this past April because I am a totally different woman. I walk straighter, I can wear clothes that I was not able to wear before, and 2.5lbs were removed from each breast. What a boost of confidence I now have as I am about to turn 60!! Dr. Karp's hand picked staff is OUTSTANDING and I cannot thank them enough again!!

I had a mastectomy for one breast and a reconstruction & reduction for the other. He's very personable and pleasant throughout my care. The surgery went well. His staff is welcoming, especially his NP Brooke Miller. She was so patient with me and reassuring during my follow up visits.

Dr Karp is a life saver. I recently had a breast reduction with Dr.Karp and it was truly the easiest experience. My breast were a size 40h and constantly giving me back pains. I was unable to do certain things and clothing was always an issue with such large breast. I explained my concerns to Dr.Karp and he assured me that he would help. 7 weeks post-op I’m currently a size 38D and loving the size of my new breast. Dr.Karp and his staff were so patient and kind especially for it being my first major surgery. They are the best!!
