Nora S. Baker

Had a new patient appointment with Dr. Baker as I was having some symptoms associated with BPH. Her style was horrible but she seemed to be very knowledgeable. I was prescribed medication and told to make a follow up appointment in a few months. Prior to the follow up I was experiencing some side effects so I book with her to discuss. In this appointment she told me that she Specializes in women. Well that was an unexpected and uncomfortable conversation. She attempted to convince me to see another doctor in their practice stating he is much more qualified to manage BPH. When asked why she accepted me in the first place and why she asked me to book a follow with her, she responded by ignoring the question. I’ve been confused and frustrated because it’s my understanding that general urology does not discriminate based on patient gender like an OBGYN would. Anyway guys heads up, I don’t want you to experience what I did. I’d just add that when asked, she said she would continue to treat… me. I decided to take her advice and find another Doctor just not one in her practice.
