One of the most powerful aspects of our work has been how Nora helped me navigate becoming a mother for the third time while healing from trauma. She understood that my pregnancy wasn't just about welcoming new life but about doing so while grieving the family structure I'd hoped my children would have. When my son was born, Nora helped me work through the complex emotions. Through the steady, consistent process of learning to treat myself with compassion, setting boundaries, and building a life that actually reflects my values. Nora taught me to recognize my patterns—how I slip into people-pleasing when I'm anxious, how I internalize others' emotions as my own responsibility—and gave me concrete tools to interrupt these cycles. What sets Nora apart is her ability to balance clinical expertise with genuine warmth. Our work continues to evolve. Nora has been a steady presence through new relationship fears and career changes, through the ordinary struggles of single parenthood and the extraordinary work of rebuilding a life from the ground up. Four years later, I'm not the same person who first logged onto that virtual session. I'm stronger, but also more tender. I'm more discerning about who I allow into my life, but also more open to genuine connection. I've learned that healing doesn't mean forgetting or minimizing what happened but rather integrating those experiences into a fuller understanding of who I am and what I'm capable of. Therapy with Nora isn't just about processing the past; it's about actively creating a future worth living. For that, I am endlessly grateful.
