Dr. Norberto J Hernandez, MD

I called Dr. Hernandez's office to get an appointment for a prophylaxis cleaning. I just retired and had to change my dental insurance plan. When I arrived, it turned out to be an evaluation-only visit. Despite my request, no cleaning that day. When I got a second appointment I was shocked to hear that the cleaning would cost $103 because it was a "Debridement" instead of a regular prophylaxis. I spoke to Dr. Hernandez and told him I just had a root scaling and planing less than three months ago, therefore I did not require such procedure. According to my plan, prophylaxis are covered at no cost. It seems Dr. Hernandez likes to overcharge elderly patients. I cancelled the appointment and Dr. Hernandez is no longer my provider.

Excellent dentist, very kind, knowledgeable, trustworthy , down to earth doctor. Gave us a payment plan ,and was able to complete my treatment with great results .

Dr Hernandez ,was very knowledgable ,gave me various clear options to my problem . He was very caring and gentle,my whole family is now being treated by him.
