Dr. Perales ordered lab work a year ago for routine labs and also a very specific test was ordered and she never gave me the result or the diagnosis until my last visit over a year later. Last year when the lab results came back her office called me and only gave me results for my blood sugar and cholesterol and failed to give me the main result that I was concerned for. I saw her a 2nd and 3rd time for sick visits, and then the 4th time for my annual physical. Each time I saw her it seemed as if she does not read my chart because she doesn't remember anything about me. So at my last visit for my yearly check up she asked a question and I answered and addressed the fact that was my original concern when I saw her last year, so she says she wants to order the test. I asked Dr. Perales if she had ordered the test before and she checked and sure enough, she had the result from last year. It was not a good result and she never told me until now, 15 months later. Since my visit with her I… have been depressed, I am going to change my PCP, this much grief could have been avoided if I had just known sooner, I am very unhappy with her care.

Dr Perales is amazing, friendly, helpful, direct, very knowledgeable. The staff is where the issues are. This office does not answer requests from pharmacies for refills. It is painful to get refills, and to wait for callbacks from staff who are waiting for response from medical assistant or the doctors. The office also charges a co-pay for every office visit even for followup appointments which the office blames on insurance. If you refuse to pay your co-pay, your appointment is cancelled.

She documents personal vies. She does not document reason for visiting or chief complaint. She has no clue what services you are requesting. Orders tests but do not keep it in your file. Refuse to continue treatment given by many practitioners in the US. Her staff is so irresponsible !!!

I used Dr Perales for a general physical and was pleased with the care I received. She took time to address my issues and gave me some great advice. I will definitely refer friends and family to Dr P!
