Dr. Norman Lockshin

Norman Lockshin, first time visit for me, spent the session dictating many trouble spots on my face and said I needed blue light treatment (chemical removal of layers of skin). Second opinion dermatologist said that was really unnecessary and took care of skin tags with freezing device.

Could not get mileage from my residence to their office. I am at 3128 Gracefield Rd Silver Spring and they are at 10313 Georgia Ave. Silver Spring

Dr. Norman Lockshin diagnosed my chronic skin condition and treated me for quite some time. He's an excellent doctor - very caring and kind and expert. When Dr. Ben joined the practice I switched to him only because I prefer to have Friday appointments; I was delighted to find that Dr. Ben is as terrific as his father. At times during my treatment I have had the benefit of help from both of the Doctors Lockshin, and I value them both so highly - they (and the wonderful office staff) make such a huge difference for me!

I have gone to dr lockshin for over 30 years and i know i can count on him for an accurate diagnosis and treatment every time! I wish more doctors were like him!!!

Dr. Norman Lockshin and Dr. Ben Lockshin are very caring, competent doctors. However, the wait in the office is unacceptable--1.5 hours yesterday, with no apology or heads up that they were running late! Furthermore, in four out of five of my appointments, the staff has failed to enter my info online as required by law to pick up my prescription (for Acutane). This seems to get lost in the shuffle because patients are squeezed in like sardines. For this reason, I wouldn't go to the practice for any serious problem--like melanoma.

My entire family goes to Dr. Lockshin. I have seen him for over 20 years. He is a great doctor. I have yet to have anything but a great experience in his office. The office is clean, the front desk staff is very polite, and the office is very efficient. I have nothing but great things to say about this practice

I took my mother to three dermatologists for over 6 months before seeing Dr. Lockshin. My mother was itching and nobody could figure it out. He figured out that one of her medications was causing it. She stopped the medication and about 3 weeks later she was feeling much much better. Thanks.

I have seen him for over ten years and last year my insurance changed. I didn't realize how bad some of the other dermatologists were until I had to find another doc. After one year of searching for a dermatologist who took my insurance I came back to see Dr. Lockshin.
