Dr. Magid is the best. He is such a wonderful doctor.

I was sent to Dr Magid to get clearance before a surgery and was a bit worried after reading the prior reviews on him. But I had nothing to worry about! The visit was excellent and Dr Magid took great care of me. I will be returning to Dr Magid to have him as my cardiologist.

Dr. Magid is a great cardiologist. He is extremely thorough and I always feel at ease with him. I have been a patient for almost 10 years.

Dr. Magid is an excellent diagnostician. I have been his patient for more than 16 years. I am an active 73 year old because of this doctor. I have confidence in his concern for my well being. His check-ups are thorough and he follows up on everything.

Dr. Magid is a very good, competent cardiologist. He is thoughtful and smart and as a doctor, he is four stars. The only downside is that my average wait before I see him is about 1 hour 45 minutes after my appointment time and that's a big downside. Also, his staff is not good about follow-up. Those factors cause me to assign an overall rating of 3 stars.

I was referred to Dr Magid by another physician. My visits with Dr Magid went smoothly enough & I found him very considerate; once I was left in a waiting room for nearly 1-1/2 hrs. The offfice seemed frantic: apparently a patient of his was at a hospital prepping for surgery & the hospital did NOT have Dr Magid's test records. He was naturally furious. And that brings me to my major complaint. I asked for my test records & to this day, 6 weeks later, they have not be sent. The office ignores my requests. Fax requests; telephone requests.

Dr. Magid has been helping me with a number of issues over the years and I can say with great confidence that he is professional insightful and experienced. He is extremely patient, always making time to speak with me about my concerns and I never feel as if I'm being "rushed along." His new office location on 45 East End Avenue (between 81st & 82nd Streets) is clean, modern and comfortable and is conveniently accessible by public transportation or car (there are a number of parking garages within a block's radius). I have referred a number of friends and family who have had similar positive experiences.

Dr. Magid is extremely patient and makes sure he gets a patient's entire medical history. His new office is beautiful and clean. Recommended.

The office staff was polite, the waiting time was not too bad and I got excellent attention. Well worth the wait if you want to get personalized attention and not seen by someone in a hospital clinic.
