Terrible experience. Waited two hours, and was no closer to seeing the doctor. Staff was indifferent, and did not offer any updates or help. Impossible situation.

This doctor needs to retire before he does any harm. Ill prepared, didn't remember that he just did something, didn't remember a patient that had a stroke just that morning. Go elsewhere.

This was my first visit with Dr Sobel. The wait was a bit long but after seeing how caring and thorough I did not mind at all. I had a very stressful surgery and in excruciating pain ever since. DR Sobel will retest the Mri and see post operative what is causing this horrific pain. Previous Doctors rush you and want to do injections without even seeing a test result or any xray imaging first. Dr Sobel will repeat these and will get to the bottom of this to the best of his knowledge. I appreciated his understanding and taking the time even though I was in agony in his office tears welling from the pain was extremely compassionate and understaning. I look forward to finding out the root of this post op pain and healing in the correct manner. I have been to many Doctors that you see them for less than 5 min and are afraid to touch me do to thier lack of knowledge and thinking a simple injection will do the job..again without any tests or imaging . I look forward to working with this… doctor to get to the root of this in a proper way. I wouldn't mind waiting hours because he is extremely thorough and cares about his patients. Thank you Dr Sobel for your compassion and wonderful bed side manner.

He takes his time with his patients

He may have saved my life. I went to him because of a pinched nerve. MRI may have shown something else going on. He asked me to get a specific blood test to determine if I had Multiple Myeloma. About 5 years later, and I'm in complete remission. Never had any organ/bone issues due to early diagnosis.

This is not only wonderful, intelligent doctor, but someone who genuinly cares about his patients. He went over and above what most doctors will ever do for you. My mom had her fifth stroke yesterday, and not only did he call EVERYONE and ANYONE in the stroke department, he made sure she was well taken care of. God bless this man. One in a million.

Dr.Sobel is a caring doctor with a great bedside manner. It is a good feeling when a Dr. shows that he really cares and wants to help you. He will send for tests and doesn't give up until he finds out what is wrong. He is very busy and there is a wait but, he is worth the wait.

I've been going to him off and on for years - decent doctor. But you can expect to wait over two hours to see him - appointments do not matter. He also has never cared about how long his patients wait, nor made any attempt to manage their time expectations. There are doctors in the area just as good, with better respect for their patients. Expect to be waiting in the uncomfortable waiting room while no one has any idea of how long the wait will be. Hours later, you're still there. It's never reasonable. Never.

Dr. Sobol is a wonderful doctor; knowlegable, easy to talk to, straight forward but great "bedside" manner. His follow-up I have not seen in a very long time. He calls immediately to discuss test results, and follow-ups, and any problems that arise in the process. He is just great. We are thankful to have been referred to him.
