Dr. Nubar Aram Sethian, MD

We've have had Dr Sethian as our primary doctor for 3-4 years and I've had it with the carelessness that he and his office have shown us time and time again when we really need our doctor. At first he is really nice and gives you his personal number to facetime when we need something urgent. I finally called him when we were both sick and in need of treatment and his assistant asks to NEVER call his cell phone again and to expect our prescription at our pharmacy by the afternoon. Afternoon comes and they haven't heard from our doctor. Call next morning they say just gives over the counter medicine for our symptoms. Could have saved us a day with just that. Also, doesn't offer any treatment, doesn't call back so he is really inconsiderate or really old and should quit his profession. Same with referrals to a specialist, we keep calling his office and the referral is never done. Please do yourself a favor and find a real doctor.

Dr Sethian has a pattern of saying outlandish things that are detrimental to the patient’s wellbeing. He never once did any diagnostic tests to get to the root of the problem. He flipped flopped on diagnosis based on records from a hospital stay stating once that the doctor only provided that diagnosis so the insurance company would pay. When confronted by this misleading information and lack of treatment he sent a letter to me saying that I could no longer be his patient (stated I requested this) and then went on to say I was not following his treatment plan. When I requested this treatment plan none was available. He also finally submitted the referrals after he sent the termination letter to me. Doctor does. Ot return phone calls you need to always go into the office and even then he does not follow through on his commitments. He may have practiced medicine for 40 years, but that doesn’t mean it’s good medicine. Don’t wasted your time or put your health at risk.

Simply said, Dr. Sethian. Is a real human being who cares about people, not only the money. ... he and his staff are fantastic to say the least.
