Dr. Nuria Francisca Pleitez, MD

Dr. Pleitez is very rude to patients. Lacks empathy and contradicts specialists diagnosis. Also staff is very rude. Find another doctor. That's what we are doing right now for my mom.

Completely lacks empathy for her patients, argumentative, accusatory and extremely inefficient all the way around. Even with an appointment, patients are forced to wait over an hour, each appointment to be met with the worst attitude. She doesn’t seem to be knowledgeable and the staff can’t even reflect a simple change on patient info.

After many years of my mom being Dr Pleitez patient.. I have decided to no longer deal with her staff..will be looking for another doctor.. appointment times are never honored, called for walk in on an urgent matter and was questioned 3 times after being transferred each time.. staff is rude and have a lack of interest in treating as patients people as a file not as patient, lack medical professional ethics, sense of entitlement.. they seem to forget the services are being monetarily compensated..that people as if they are doing us a favor.. by far the worst medical staff I have yet dealt with..walking appoinments expect to be there 1 to 3 hrs plus.. when ask about wait time they act as they are doing us a favor. Sad!!

My Doctor now for 20 years. Professional, caring,exceeds my expectations.

Waiting time to be seen was 4 hrs that's ridiculous

Rarely got to see Dr. Pleitez. I was almost always seen by an assistant (Dr. Evelyn) she was great but no longer works there. Johnson is Dr. Pleitez's nurse practitioner and is just awful. She diagnosed me incorrectly and treated me for it. Worst two weeks of life! Almost ruined my marriage! Stopped going there after this! Wished Dr. Pleitez did a better job of picking out people to represent her if she's not going to see her patients.

Many of Dr. Pleitez's patients cannot afford healthcare and use some type of government assistance. The Dr does not take the time to fully review health charts and when visited is more concerned with getting the appointment over with as opposed to properly treating the patient.

I think that Dr. Pleitez her self, does not really care, like if you have an infection on your foot, she won't even touch it; but she is accurate most of the time, but a little rude as well. Instaed Dr. Evelyn (her helper) she is totally the opposite, she spends her time with you, and she would even touch your foot if you have like an infection...big difference from Dr. Pleitez!

It is extremely difficult to get an appointment and they rarely accept walk-ins. They used to in the past but not anymore. It's like we are supposed to know ahead of time that we are going to get sick. It literally takes hours for them to call your name. In the past they used to call your name from the door outside, which is only 4 feet away from the door inside, if you were not in the waiting room (which has limited seating, so sometimes you have no choice but to go outside). Now they won't walk the extra four feet and just put your file back on the bottom causing you to wait even longer. There should be a sign posted stating not to go outside. My 8 yaer old son and I were going to this doctor for 8 years. I took my son in because I was concerned about his weight. They did diagnose him with high colesterol and only said to eat healthier. They did not refer us to a nutritionist or schedule a follow up. This is just one example of the way they do not follow up in this office.
