Dr. Oday Karim Abdallah

Dr. Abdallah is an extremely rude doctor. I went in for a follow up and to fill out a form. He wanted to negotiate that I go get blood work in order for him to complete a physical. He stated if I go get the bloodwork done now that he would have the form ready when I come back. Not only did I have to go to work It is NOT a requirement to have bloodwork done to complete a basic physical. You can walk into any clinic and have a physical completed but being that he is/was my doctor I asked him. I explained that I didn’t want my bloodwork done yet because next month I will have bloodwork done again due to employment. Due to insurance purposes it is unnecessary to have it done twice in less than 30 days. I called to file a complaint and the staff refused to acknowledge the dr refusal.

Dr. Abdallah is a fine doctor. He is both knowledgeable and personable. He always takes time with me and makes me feel important to him.

After waiting almost an hour after my appointment time, I was taken to exam room where the nurse-helper took my vitals. Very nice young lady. Dr. finally appeared about 15 minutes later. I had to excuse myself as I had to visit the rest room. He finally came back in and we started talking about my health. Long story short, I mentioned that I had been to a specialist that prescribed an inhaler. I asked that Dr. if it would interact with my medications, (I am a heart patient and am on Beta Blockers) 3 times and that Dr. said no all three times. I began using the inhaler as prescribed and my heart started doing things it is not supposed to do. I looked up the drug and its interactions and found that it would react with Beta Blockers. I was more than put out. I could have died. I told Dr. Abdallah of this experience and said that I had come close to calling a lawyer. Well at that point Dr. Abdallah said that we should acquire a relationship and he did not feel comfortable treating me and… asked his nurse to suggest another Doctor. Never have I been so mortified in my life. AND he is a DO not an MD. So unless you really have a clean record and no complaints of other doctors, I do not recommend this DO.

I went to see this doctor today and was refused care. Once I told him i had a wife he made up an excuse and said he would not take me due to missed appointments in the past. He said he would give me a list of other doctors and was refusing care. He was very rude and rushed me out of the door as quickly as possible. I honestly believe he is homophobic and that is why he refused care.

I am very pleased with Dr Abdullah, it is refreshing to have a doctor take the time to really listen to you.

Dr Abdallah takes time to explain and answer any and all questions without making you feel rushed. He is very understanding and goes over and above to help you stay healthy.

Dr. Abdallah is refreshingly thorough and pleasant. He takes whatever time you need during a visit

After being so rude and realizing he was not a daily bather, he spoke loud and over me. After my 4 hour wait and 5 minutes with dr obdalla, I headed home..it hit me like a ton of bricks. He never washed his hands! After waiting that long, how dare he see another patient when it was my turn. I have never written a bad review about anyone before today
