Dr. Ohad Menashe Ben-Yehuda, MD

Dr. Ohad Ben Yehuda is one of the rare doctors who truly respects women and their birth experience. From pregnancy through birth, he was consistently supportive, attentive, and deeply knowledgeable. He took the time to understand me, my needs, and my birth preferences, and he honored them while ensuring safety and clarity every step of the way. He personally spends time with his patients and does not rely on nurses or others to replace that connection—which is incredibly valuable. I felt seen, heard, and supported. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a thoughtful, skilled, and respectful OBGYN.

When I became pregnant with twins, I asked my gynecologist to refer an obstetrician who would have a similar approach; compassionate, thorough and a partner through the process. He took one second to come up with Dr. Ben-Yehuda's name and he couldn't have been more accurate. Dr. Ben-Yehuda made every appointment a pleasure. He welcomed my husband to be a part of the experience. We never felt rushed as he answered every question and gave detailed explanations for each test and step of the process. His charming bedside manner and calm presence instilled confidence immediately. He never treated my twin pregnancy as a liability, or cause for undue concern. But rather like any other, except with more frequent monitoring towards the end to ensure both babies were thriving. During our 17-week scan, Dr. Ben noticed something unusual with our baby boy. He was very calm as he took his time to confirm what he saw. This moment could have been traumatic if it was mishandled, but Dr. Ben… was the picture of professionalism and compassion. He delivered the news that our son had what appeared to be a cleft lip. He immediately called his associate, the High-Risk OB, to squeeze us in for a scan to confirm a bilateral cleft lip and palate. His delivery allowed us to digest the news with confidence that everything would be OK. At a later scan, he noticed that our daughter might be growth restricted, again he rushed us to the High Risk OB who confirmed the diagnosis and they agreed on a timeline that would be safe for delivery. We managed to get to 37 weeks and 4 days! With Dr. Ben, we were always in safe hands. We had some scares, but due to his approach we were calm throughout the process. We had hoped for a vaginal delivery even though our daughter would most likely be breech since Dr. Ben is skilled at assisted breech deliveries. He explained my choices a week before delivery and laid out the risks and benefits of an induced vaginal birth versus a cesarean and left the decision to me. After his thorough counsel, I opted for a scheduled cesarean because I was concerned that our growth restricted daughter may struggle through contractions, or have a cord prolapse, etc. I wanted our twins to arrive in the safest possible way. On the day of delivery, I was very anxious. Dr. Ben arrived to the OR and was as calm as ever. He sat with me before he got started and reassured me that all would be well. The cesarean was flawless, I recovered to near normal within 10 days! Not what I expected and I was ever grateful since I needed to be healthy enough to divide my time between being at home with our daughter and the NICU with our son. I am forever thankful to Dr. Ben-Yehuda. I'll be proud to tell our little ones about the doctor who delivered them! Thank you Dr. Ben-Yehuda and your lovely staff Analy and Lidia. Harper and Oliver arrived safely because of your care.

Dr. Ben Yehuda is the best OB-GYN I’ve ever had! My husband and I just welcomed our first child and we had a great experience from start to finish. The best things about Dr. Ben Yehuda: -You don’t feel rushed. He takes time to explain everything to you and answer questions. This was huge for me, being a first time mom! You can also email him with questions. - He’s extremely kind, friendly, respectful and will make you feel at ease. You can tell he really cares about his patients - He’s very knowledgeable and stays up to date with recent research, so that he can offer you the best information, unlike many doctors who offer outdated information. - He has a low C section rate. This was really important to me in looking for an OB to deliver my child as I didn’t want unnecessary interventions. - On the day of my delivery, I knew I was in good hands no matter what happened. The nurses at the hospital RAVE about him. My baby was tangled in the umbilical cord and his heart rate was… dropping. Dr Ben was able to quickly and safely deliver my child without having to resort to an emergency C section. He also stayed calm and reassuring during this emergency situation. In the end, myself and my baby were perfectly healthy! Also, if you’re worried that having a male OB will be weird, DON’T worry about that! Because it isn’t! A few friends have asked me about this and my response has always been that I’ve been more comfortable with Dr. Ben than any of the female OB’s I’ve seen before him. He also made my husband feel totally comfortable. Everyone in the office is wonderful, too. Highly recommend this doctor!

Look no further! Go see Dr. Ben-Yehuda!! I am a registered nurse and Dr. Ben-Yehuda is absolutely amazing. He is so knowledgeable and explains everything thoroughly. He has excellent bedside manner, and talks through the pros and cons of every decision so you can make the best decisions for yourself. Every single appointment was on time and the appointments never felt rushed. He delivered our baby boy and coached me through pushing. He was so calm throughout the delivery, it made us calm. My husband doesn’t have any medical background and understood everything he said as well. We both really trusted being in Dr. Ben-Yehuda’s care. He is so friendly and kind and he really cares about each one of his patients; I can’t say enough good things about him!! The front desk staff (Lidia and Analy) are wonderful as welThey are friendly, quick to respond to emails, and helped me fill out paperwork for work and maternity leave pay. I was referred to Dr. Ben by my manager at work and I'm so glad I was! When i found out that i was pregnant i really didnt know where to start. I wasn't really looking to shop around for a doctor but as soon as i met with him my 1st visit, i knew that he would be my doctor. From the pregnancy to birth to postpartum, he has been with me every step of the way. He explained what every test was and why we needed to do it. He always asked if we had any questions. He is always available for questions through email and responds pretty quickly, usually within a few hours. I struggled shortly afterbirth and to have your doctor personally call is the kind of service you really need. I am so glad I was referred to him I cant imagine going through this journey with any other doctor. I must also give some praise to Lydia who works in the office. She was very helpful to me when it came to disability problems and emailing me back and forth to find therapists. She is very friendly and caring. Luke… and I will always be thankful for them.

Today i needed surgery on my leg I heard the docter ben yehuda was out of town but when I told him I was in need of surgery he left his family vacation and came to help me. Dr. Ben yehuda will always be there for you he is the best docter in the world. And i highly recomend going to him
