I was extremely happy when I found Dr. Okezie! He had to be a God-send. I'd been to 3-4 other pain docs trying to find a solution to my issue without being treated like a patient who was just a number. He took an interest in my situation and even gave me pointers on the necessary lifestyle changes that I needed to make to minimize the repeated bouts of pain. I highly recommend him if you are having any sort of pain- specifically your back.

I was walking around like a 90 yr old woman, taking pain meds like candy. After Dr. O'Kezie administered shots in my back I was walking around normal and NO pain pills! I had been crippling around for about 6 years, had 2 back surgeries, and no relief....until Dr. O'Kezie!! I HIGHLY recommend him to anyone suffering from chronic pain! He is NO PILL PUSHER and is, IMO, a miracle worker!

I found Dr. Okezie after being in an accident that shattered my elbow and cut my Ulnar nerve. After numerous surgeries, it became apparent that nothing further could be done leaving me in a lot of pain. I went to several doctors who were unable to provide effective treatment before finding Dr. Okezie. I had literally lost all hope that I would be able to use my dominate arm effectively again, and become a disability statistic. During my initial consult, he listened to me, actually took the time to explain the cause of the pain, but more importantly, he took the time to educate me on how the medication would help and how it works. It took a few times to find the right formula, but 3 years later I'm still good to go and have my life back. If you are one to abuse medications, he's not the doctor for you, but if you want serious help for a legit issue, I know of none better. His office staff is also very nice and accommodating with appointments. The only negative is that sometimes… the wait can be a little long (15-30min), but considering the number of patients, it's to be expected.

Staff is rude and uncaring,dr.has an opinion before ever seeing you. They fail to follow-up or communicate with other Drs. Seem to be very uncorporative or caring.

Made me run out of strong antidepressants abruptly which can cause strokes, heart attacks and siezures.... And I've had 2 heart surgeries. Then sent me to psychologist who cannot prescribe meds so then I had to wait 4 more weeks to see psychiatrist who even ask me "What was he thinking"? This guy obviously puts no value in his Hypacratic Oath

At first I thought I found a Doctor that understood I did not want Opioids but I was wrong. He fired me for refusing to take them. I guess if you want to get addicted to pain meds go see him. Good luck getting a script filled most things he prescribes pharmacies have to order. If you have pain like I do you can not wait 2 weeks to a month to get your medicine. On a good note when he fire me; I went to see my primary Doctor to see why I was in so much pain. Come to find out with a CT I have cyst on both of my Kidneys and One in my Liver and my bile duct severely in large 13mm and it should be 4mm. Good luck getting him to listen.

They refuse to answer phones. For gas reimbursement it had to be verified I was there. The company tried for 4 days at different times but the phone was never answered. I have tried for 3 days. They do not answer the phones. I was finally sent a letter that it could not be verified. Nor will they open the window if you go to the office they turn their back and leave you standing there. The whole front office should be fired.

I have been seeing Dr. Okesie for about three years and have always been very pleased with his bedside manner. He always comes in and welcomes me, shakes me hand and ask how I've been feeling lately. He listens very intently at everything I have to say. He is very thorough. He has never rushed me or made me feel as though he were in a rush. I've always felt I had all the time I needed to discuss anything with him. If there was a question from the previous visit, he goes over that with me to see if everything is better or if we need to try something different. I honestly have never had such a caring doctor. I am very happy to have found Dr. Okesie.
