I went to see Dr. D a year ago with my first pregnancy. A week after seeing her I began to miscarry. Since it was so sudden I had a d and c done by another doctor in the group. As I waited in the hospital Dr D came by to see me and see how I was and later that night she called me from her home ( I could tell she was home because I heard little children in the background ) to see if I was ok and told me everything would be fine and I should try again. At the time I was 41 and knowing it's hard to get and stay pregnant at my age but she left me with encouraging words. I always remembered over the past year how nice it was of her to stop and see me and to call me. A lot of doctors in a big group like she belongs to might not have done the same thing. I got pregnant again and she was the doctor I choose to see. I feel she's a good and kind doctor and would recommend her to anyone.

I saw Dr. Dorbuzinsky for routine prenatal visit. I am 17 weeks pregnant. She is the worst! I waited in the exam room ( after already waiting in the waiting room) almost 30 minutes. My husband was annoyed but I assumed it was just busy and was not going to hold that against anyone. When she finally came in she stated her name, how far along I was and proclaimed "you haven't had a flu shot, do you want a flu shot?" I wasn't sure, or expecting the question, so I answered "I don't know" she replied why i started to answer stating "I'm pregnant..." And I was going to say I have never had one before do you think it's ok, but before I could she interrupted me stating "of course I know your pregnant, why would I not know you are pregnant" the way she said it was so rude and she made me feel so stupid that when she asked again if I wanted my shot now or next visit I said next time! She listened to the heart rate, said everything was good and was about to walk out when I stopped her to tell… her I ran out of prenatal vitamins and needed a new prescription (which I told the nurse, and saw her write a note for the doctor!). She seemed so annoyed, asked where to send the prescription and left. My husband pointed out after she left that no one had tested my urine sample, saying " guess you peed in a cup for nothing, huh?" I was so disheartened leaving I started crying as soon as I got to the car. All the questions I had I forgot because I was so embarrassed, as a first time pregnancy I felt so hurt! I will never see this doctor by any means necessary, next time I am seeing mid wife.

A good amount of time spent with me.

I was 7 month pregnant and in for a follow-up after preterm labor stay in the hospital, I come in and spoke about the pain I was in and she began the exam. she said she was going to check for dialation. before she started I made sure to tell her how painful it was in that area. A minute after she started, I noticed something was wrong. she wasn't checking for dialtion and I was in EXTREME pain. I asked her to stop, and began crying. she completely ignored my cries for help and my feelings. as I sat up I noticed a ton of blood. this is NOT how a pregnant woman whos just had preterm labor should be treated. after sitting up and asking what she just did to me she told me she was doing a mandatory test for an STD. I did NOT consent to this test and it was NOT necessary as this was my 3rd pregnancy with my husband. Being that I look very young I feel she took advantage of me and she treated me like a child. she demeaned me and insinuated that I was too young to have a child and I needed a… screening because I must have an STD given my age. VERY rude. I told her I did not want that test and would not have agreed to it. She insisted it is a mandatory test, being that this was my 3rd pregnancy and I'd never had that test before during a pregnancy I highly doubt that. I would never go back and in fact this experience has scarred me emotionally and subsequent exams with other doctors have been upsetting for me. I feel violated and lied to. because I was just in labor, early, a test like this should not have even been done, and certainly not the morning after labor. she took no responsibility or apologize for what she had done to me, I left this office in tears and feeling very violated. I'd like to warn other expecting mothers.
