Dr. Ashaye is a fantastic doctor. I have been seeing him for about 7 years and I always leave his office feeling better, than when I came in. He is very professioinal, caring and concerned about issues you may have and always listens to you. The medication he has prescribed for me over the years has helped me immensley. I highly reccomend Dr. Ashaye to anyone having mental health concerns. With that being said, regarding the staff, I do agree with some of negative comments directed at the office employees. Working in this type of environment, the office employees should be sensitive to the patients needs. I have had several issues with a few of the staff that work in this office. I have had conversations about the office help with Dr. Ashaye and he has made it easier for me to communicate and get some things done without becoming frustrated when trying to get medicatioins renewed, or having Rx's sent to their fax machine. The office does need some customer service training. … I haven't been in the office for a while, but my past experience has had some moments when my calls/visits have not been so pleasant. Once you get into see the doctor, everything is fine. But dealing with some of the office staff can be frustrating sometimes.

I’ve been seeing him for 10 plus years, throughout our years together he’s always been there, cares, and always helps find the best solutions for me as an individual. All I can say is, I wish more doctors were like him.

I have been looking for a new doctor for my daughter, and Dr. Ashaye came highly recommended. After reading all of the reviews about him, it seems that the doctor, himself, is outstanding and I was looking forward to scheduling an appointment. The gal who answered the phone was NOT friendly. When I asked if the doctor was accepting any new patients, she said that they were booked up until November, and she didn't even offer any appointment for that time. Too bad that such a highly recommended doctor has such an incompetent staff.

I honestly don't know how such nasty people get customer service oriented jobs. These women are belligerent and surly. They NEVER SMILE or have a kind word for my son or I.

I am going to start this by saying that Dr. Ashaye is a kind, caring man that puts his patients at ease. My complaint is regarding staff. I recently made an appointment and his staff cancelled my appointment due to a past bill that they said was put into collections. I do understand this policy if I was at fault and I am the one with this consequence. I tried several times to obtain more information regarding the issue. The staff/receptionist was really rude. I had called prior to my appointment with a question and this is when I was notified that I was off the appointment list. For such a fine Doctor, I am sorry to have to write this review on his staff, however I do find it necessary when I was treated quite poorly over the phone.

Dr. Ashaye is a wonderful psychiatrist, he takes the time to find out how you really are doing. He would rather you participate in counseling than to just throw more meds at you. My family and I trust him very much. If there is a problem whenever and you just need to talk, change a dose or whatever he calls you back personally to come up with an answer. I would recommend him to everyone!
