Dr. Omar Rehman Chaudhary, MD

Recently, I saw Dr Chaudhrey for the very first time. I thought he was fantastic. He was extremely thorough and knowledgeable. His bedside manner was wonderful. He allowed me more than enough time to ask questions and express my concerns. I give him my very highest recommendation! He gets a rating of 5 from me! Sadly, I cannot say the same thing about the medical assistant named Tracy. I give Tracy a rating of 1. Although Tracy tested my eye pressure and performed other tests, she acted unprofessionally and unethically. Plus she had an attitude. She made it sound like I was doomed with cataracts. She asked me if I was ready to have cataract surgery. Absolutely improper! That's for the doctor to determine, not her. She also told me that any difficulty seeing clearly was all due to the cataracts. Again, highly improper! She is forbidden to give medical advice or assess a patient's test results. I repeatedly tried to make it clear to her that my doctor would be discussing the test… results with me. Needless to say, my encounter with Tracy was very tense because I knew she was out of bounds. I hope she will change her behavior and not do this again.

I am writing this review for my mother Rene Teger who had cataract surgery and she was beyond thrilled with his service and recovery time. The doctor was nice, thorough and clearly adept at his skill because was driving the next day. She would recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Chaudhary changed my life! He is the best eye doctor I've ever seen! He diagnosed me with dry eye. I've always had this problem, but no eye doctor has ever treated it before. That led to my rheumatologist diagnosing me with Sjogren's Syndrome. The treatment for the Sjogren's has aleviated pain and suffering that I've experienced my entire life. My previous rheumatologist had struggled to diagnose me, considering and ruling out lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, fibromyalgia, etc. It was Dr. Chaudhary's diagnosis of dry eye and prescription of eye drops that provided the necessary clue to point towards Sjogren's.
