Dr. Ghausi is an amazing neurologist. He takes his time, explains different medical treatments, even listens to the patients ideas! He's a rare find in this day an age when most Doctors are out to make a fast dollar. He seems to genuinely care, follow ups are easy.

Dr Ghausi spends time with me, explains everything, answers questions, and obviously knows what he's talking about. Great guy!

The office needs a new receptionist or send her to consumer relations classes. Patients come in and are ill, no time to deal with rudeness.

Dr. Ghuasi is one of the very few doctors I have come across that listens and cares. He does not rush you with questions fired from a pistol to get to the next patient or give you 5 minutes to talk and then spends the remainder of the allotted time talking down to you. He meets you halfway instead of speaking in Dr.-speak or coming down to your level and getting nothing done. Out of the many doctors I have had, Dr. Ghausi truly is tied for first place. My only complaint is that I cannot have him for a primary care doctor...that would be awesome! I have suffered from migraines multiple times a week forever. Because we worked through previous treatments and he listened to what was going on, 'we' narrowed down to two potential medications. The first one was the answer. Of course, it is the expensive med but that is just my own luck of course. :) I have no more migraines. The final key note! If he does not know the answer, he actually goes and researches it! How many… doctors do that now days!?!? Instead of running you through multiple treatment plans costing you pain and a lot of money on repeat visits and different medications, he does his homework and comes back with what he found and provides input and ASKS YOU what you think and whether you should both do more research or try the solution he has found. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this doctor. I struck gold as I had just moved to San Diego and he was the first neurologist I tried.
