Dr. Ortiz is a complete professional. He has real concerns and is sympathetic about my medical conditions. I would not change him for any other Doctor in the world.

I came into CSMC emergency department with excruciating back pain. After a ct scan a 10 mm Kidney stone was identified. He said he had to put a stent in that night to bypass my blockage from the stone. I continued to show a positive urine analysis, He had me on antibiotics and pain medicine for 3 months. I only saw him in his office twice. He replaced the stent a second time because it was crystallizing. I never had any symptoms of an infection/uti. After 3 months of sitting home taking medication for an infection and becoming depressed as he was unable to resolve my issue. He said I would become sepsis if you blasted the stone. After 3 wasted months, I went to Dr. Muruve at Cleveland Clinic. He operated 4 days later with no issue. He advised I did not have an UTI. The cultures were positive due to the stents and the stone. I woke up from surgery feeling great. That was 4 months ago. I've never had another issue. Dr. Ortiz-Alvarado, Florida Urological Associates misdiagnosed me and… put me through 3 months of physical and mental issues.
