Dr Nikrouz is a fantastic doctor. He is very knowledgeable and direct with a calming bedside manner. Highly recommend!

10 starsssss....Went for my annual physical. Had to do blood work, vaccine, TB test and drug testing for my job, allergy testing as well for my hives.. all done on a sunday less than 1 hr.. he is the best. No joking around. No waisting time. He takes my insurance as well which no one does anymore.super highly recommend. Wish i could take him back to LA with me. Best doc ever

so here is my story, for which i have decided to share, no matter how, sad it can be.. i was referred to Dr. Omid by one of my psychiatrist. i take multiple meds, for anxiety, and i had been coughing, for the last 3 months. i passed, out, 3-4 times, while coughing as well in the last couple of months. i went to Emergency room, 2 times, and i was told its probably my blood sugar and i was sent home. then, i went to 2 other doctors on upper east side, they all checked my heart and listened to my lung, and told me no worries, its probably my blood pressure, falling to low. I was refereed to see Dr Omid and my first visit, was 2 weeks, ago, with him.. with in the past 2 weeks that i just started seeing him, i had full blood work, as well, as imaging of my lung, and even surgery and was sadly diagnosed with lung Tumor and cancer.. I really believe that if there is one person, that is really in it, to help you and do a full workup, is Dr. Omid. even though i am truly in awe because of… recent diagnoses, but i am strong enough to say that if Dr. Omid would have not sent me for a ct scan, i would have never known, and this problem, would have continued for long time. Dr Omid i don't know how to thank you, even though my diagnosis, is not one that i expected in million years, but at least, i know, whats causing my cough episodes and passing out, and i can seek the right care.

Very nice and friendly from both the staff and doctor. Answered all my questions and made sure I was taken care of. Very happy with my visit.

Dr. Nikrouz is one of the most honest doctors, in NYC. he even accepts my medicaid and managed medicaid insurance, which no one even in Washington heights, accept anymore. he is complete and does a excellent job listening to your concerns, and not rushing you.. i have high regards for him, He has also been seeing my mother and sister in law and they are all very happy with his care. his does all blood work, in his office, and does the necessary testing to make sure you are healthy...

Dr. Nikrouz is very personable, meanwhile professional. He takes his time to listen to your concerns in a time efficient manner as he is very busy but you don't feel you are rushed without being able to discuss your health issues with him. His staff are nice and friendly. His examination is thourough if you are there for your routine physical or excellent problem focused if you are there for an issue that has come up recently. His office is equipped with state of the art equipment. If blood work is needed, one of the staff nurse would do that right there. He also provides some tests like EKG, some neurological scanning . Echocardiogram and He would refer you to specialist if needed . I definitely recommend him as an IM physician with vast knowledge of specific systems .

I've been going to Dr. Nikrouz's office for nearly a year, and he's so far the most a attentive and skilled primary physician I've met in this city. For me, losing weight and keeping my blood pressure low were necessary to keeping my fatigue low and helping depression. He was the only doctor who didn't simply blame me for these issues, but spent time to listen actually set up a process and method to get my blood pressure in check and my weight in check. He always performs a regular check up and monitors my health closely - any complaint gets a thorough, attentive work up. A lot of doctors treat it like a factory, but Nikrouz knows my health and history, and this makes appointments easy and low stress Wait is anywhere from 5 to 15 mins - they spend time answering questions and the staff are very friendly and sincere. The appointments are easy to schedule of you call and explain reason. I highly recommend his office, especially for BP, weight loss, and depression/anxiety issues. Plan… to stick with him for as long as he's in the city.

liked him a lot, he is very good, great patient contact as well as the fact that he explains everything to u.. He is always upfront and talks to u like a friend. he gets to know u as a friend and not as patient. Highly recommend him if u live in NYC and Queens, area.

Great bedside manner, easy to talk to physician as well as staff. he is very intelligent and very complete on the physical exam.

Great doc. to the point, does not waste time. gets the job done, will def keep him as pcp, one of the few doc's that really cares in NYC
