Dr. Onyema Edward Amakiri, DO

This was my first visit with the Dr. Amakiri. It was wonderful to still find a doctor that has the patient care as the first priority. The protocols in his office are ultimately professional and I felt my medical issues were address instead of just brandade therapy

They blame everything on insurance when after calling insurance, this dr office is money hungry and un accommodating . After years of using same dr. I have chronic neck and back pain, they will not prescribe controlled substances, The refferal process is only ever 3 months when my insurance will approve for 12! They want you to come in for EVERYTHING and of course charge you for it! Never going back after today!

I am very fortunate that had found Dr. Onyema E, Amakiri as my pcp i feel so good and specialy very helpfull with him he helps me on any way that i need , like paper work i need to be filled out ... Thank you very much , I greatfully apreciate you ... Dr. Onyema E,Amakiri.

I very much disliked it at every visit the wife Ms. Amikiri goes in to listen to all your problems. That is unethical and unprofessional as she is not certified.

Am very fortunate to have found Dr. Amakiri - he is an excellent doctor and his staff is very patient and kind. Dr. is very good at what he does and is compassionate, patient, and diligent in resolving your health issues as well as listening patiently to what you have to say.

Dr. Amakiri is an outstanding physician who will see you in his office and also follow you in the hospital in the event that you are hospitalized. He is comprehensive in his examination and a true patient advocate.

After a critical ER visit, it took him two days to return numerous calls. He said he would prescribe a med but never did. staff would not return calls. A third rate operation.

The Dr. was not in, I was seen by a PA. She prescribed 3 medications, none were called in. I was seen on a Friday. It is now the following Tuesday. I have called repeatedly and Monday was promised a call back. Both days I was told no one can address my issue because they are busy with patients. I hope the Dr. is more competent than his staff.

Dr Amakiri has been with me throughout my hospital stay. He has been instrumental in ensuring my recovery. His office staff have been patient and efficient when complications required post-surgery scheduling and prescription changes. I feel lucky and confident having him quarterback my health-care!
