Dr. Orlando Xavier Arce, MD

Dr. Arce gave my family, and I the hope, and faith we needed to remain strong my daughter. His besides manners, caring abilities, compassion and understanding are beyond outstanding! I am will recommend him over and over again. We are forever grateful to him!

Dr. Arce, I wish I can give him and his staff more than five stars. I took my 16 year old son for the first time today and the Doctor is AMAZING, very knowledgeable and caring and professional. Dr. Arce and his staff have no room for improvement. We were not only impressed by his knowledge. He took the time to address all of my questions and concerns. I will highly recommend him to friends and family and anyone seeking a fantastic Pediatric Cardiologist.

Told my daughter overweight kids like her tend to have suicidal thoughts and suffer from depression. We went for a sports clearance for HBP and he told her practicing sports will not help her lose weight. Just wants another patient to falsely treat. I do not recommend.

Not kid friendly at all, got very upset that my kids wanted to continually get up for water. Was not very helpful at all

I went to visit Dr. Arce regarding a heart murmur heard by my 7 year old daughters pediatrician. She was advised to do an ekg and echo. Once they were completed the doctor stated everything was normal and to keep track of her heart rate and call if anything was concerning. I asked what rate would be concerning and he replied you call me and let me be the doctor and you be the mom. He refused to explain anything in detail and ensure my questions were answered to my satisfaction. Instead he continued to tell me my daughter needs to cut back on her portions of food. I stated that she barely eats and his reply was well she is not getting fat from the air conditioner and continued by saying she will be a fat girl who no one wants to play with and boys will not want to dance with a fat girl. This was all said in front of my daughter and was very unprofessional, condescending and degrading. I will not be returning to him and he needs to take classes regarding patient interaction. It is very… concerning that he is a pediatric cardiologist.

Dr. Arce has been my children's cardiologist for 15 years, we are more than satisfied with his care. I have not met a more caring, patient, down to earth doctor ever. We love him, and are forever grateful to him. He is a great doctor and a great person, really one of a kind! I cannot say enough good things about him!

He saved our sons life in 2003 when he was 4 years old. He is now 14 and doing amazing. Dr. Arce is very kind and caring. Our family can not thank him enough for everything he has done.

Visited his office in Miramar and Dr. Arce and his staff are wonderful. They are great with kids! He was very attentive and caring with my daughter. His examination was thorough and he gave a detailed explanation of everything. My daugther really enjoyed her visit and I would recommend his services to anyone I know who is looking for a pediatric cardiologist.

I called today to get my one year old in as soon as possible due to an ER doctor telling me that his heart appeared to be enlarged on a chest x-ray. The receptionist said that there had been a cancellation for this afternoon, so we gratefully took it. We were running nearly half an hour late, but the staff was kind and still took us. We had to wait for over an hour, but after we met Dr. Arce, I can understand why. He is so kind and compassionate. He took extra time with my little one not to scare him and to put him at ease. His nurse had previously done an EKG on my son and Dr. Arce did an echo. Dr. Arce immediately let me know that my son's heart was in perfect condition and then proceeded to tickle my little man's tummy. It was such a simple gesture, but such a sweet one. He then told us to take his card in case we needed anything in the future, but that Ollie's heart looked great and he did not require a f/u. Even at the end of the exam when a took a moment to share a personal story… about Ollie, Dr. Arce did not rush us and was so nice as he was leaving the room. It is tough find a good doctor was a wonderful bedside manner, but Dr. Arce appears to be knowledgeable and great with little children. Our experience was worth the wait!
