Dr. Orreth Bruce Case, MD

Dr. Case met me in the ER at Northside Hospital. As it turns out I had my 4th bowel blockage from scar tissue. I had a surgeon in 2017 who didn't help me so I knew I didn't want him. Dr. Case came in pulled up a chair and sat down next to the bed. He explained what had happened and what needed to do. I trust Dr. Case with my life. I have talked with him about my Mom..he helped her last year when she had to have her gallbladder removed. You're in the best hands with him! -BDieringer

Couldn't ask for a better surgeon. Fabulous bed side manner. Kind, thoughtful, supportive and extremely caring!!! Would recommend him to anyone needing surgery.

Definitely one of the rudest doctors I’ve ever had. Immensely inappropriate comments about my emotional wellbeing before and after having major surgery, dismissive about concerns about the healing process.. Right out of the gate he was very abrupt and uncaring and nearly sent me home from the hospital rather than operate. Getting follow-up care was nearly impossible and I had to go to the ER again for issues that he constantly wrote off as “nothing of note.” ZERO bedside manner! Expect to wait in his office for AT LEAST an hour over your scheduled appointment if you’re there for follow-up care that he will only take five minutes to address.

Dr. Case performed emergency intestinal surgery on me at Northside Hospital, Dunwoody, GA. He performed an amazing procedure under life and death circumstances. I was admitted through the emergency room. I would recommend Dr. Case as one of the best specialized, experienced surgeons in the world.

Dr. Case is a wonderful,informative surgeon. He takes time to explain things so I understood.

Dr. case took my appendix out at 8 am. Didn’t check on me post op one single time. I was told to wait all day to be discharged by him. He ended up leaving the hospital without seeing me and or giving discharge orders. He yelled at my nurses multiple times for asking for my discharge work. He’s VERY unprofessional and only cares about his schedule and getting to leave. He didn’t check on my incisions that he made... so unprofessional.

I was diagnosed with a highly inflamed appendix at Emory Johns Creek Hospital that required emergency surgery and Dr. Case was assigned as my surgeon. Speaking from experience as no stranger to hospitals or surgery Dr. Case ranks at the top of the list in terms of quality of his work, bedside manner and open honest dialogue.

Under the worst circumstances, I met Dr. Case becasue of an emergeny at Crawford Long Hospital. I was in so much pain and it was discovred I required a colostomy. Dr. Case performed the surgery and his bedside manner, his explalantion of what to expect, his aftercare and his caring were beyond measurable. He took the time to speak with my aunt concerning my condition and did not hesitate when asked to do so. Unfortunately, Dr. Case was not eligible to perform my reversal, however I know that if the surgery had not been performed accuraetly the first time, a reversal would have been out of the question. God bless Dr. Case.

I thank Dr Case for saving my life.he did so after an incompetent PA almost ended my life by mis diagnosing me without doing one test until after he administered a drug causing my colon to rupture. Dr Cade all but admitted that it was a mistake made by the inexperienced PA.i am now stuck with a very uncomfortable and needless colostomy.he also promise id be put back together in a few months.after a couple of follow up visits it became obvious that I was not getting re connected without having to pay an outrageous cost. im un insured. at that point he washed his hands of the whole situation and dismissed me as if I was trash.keep in mind none of tgis was caused by him but he had promised id be put back together in a timley fashion. I beleive he is a great surgeon but lacks in compassion and was very cold tounged to me.he makes promises he doesn't keep and I beleive should re read the oath he took

Recently, I went to the ER and was told that I had appendicitis. Dr. Case was my surgeon and from start to finish it was the best experience I think I could have had. It was my first surgery and I was already terrified that all of a sudden I was about to be in surgery. Dr. Case was incredibly comforting and told me everything to expect and answered every question I had before and after the surgery. I would recommend him to any and everyone.
