Dr. Osama Gamil Ayad, MD

Dr. Ayad was my husband's doctor during a hospital admittance simply because her was attending in the ER when we came in. I wish he'd called in sick. He was not very informative. Didn't really listen. Seemed opposed to using newer medications and several times contradicted the surgeon without good explanation. He often told us that what was happening was in "God's hands" which does not really induce confidence when you're looking for a medical diagnosis. His contribution to the efforts to heal my husband were to come into the room every day and tell us how the bloodwork was and take vitals. The other doctors and surgeon actually diagnosed and treated my husband. The day he was due to be released my husband's kidney function dropped by a fraction Dr. Ayad us the choice to go home and return in a few days for bloodwork or stay another night for observation. After he left to let us think about it the nurse came in and informed us that he had ordered an IV bag for my husband. She also… informed us that Dr. Ayad told her that he was giving us a choice but if we chose to go home that she was to record it as against Drs orders and our insurance could then refuse to pay. She asked him if he had informed us of that fact. To which he responded that he had not informed us then left her to do inform us and to "handle" whatever reaction that created. I have lost all trust and respect for Dr. Ayad. I only wish that I'd have known I could have fired him the second day.

He treated my husband with large doses of antibiotics which were unwarranted. My husband had Gadolinium reaction...he developed severe diarrhea, now he has heart issues. I wouldn’t have this so called doctor treat my dog....Ayad also talked down to me his way or no way. BEWARE, STAY CLEAR OF THIS MAN. HE DOESENT EVEN DESERVE ONE STAR....

Dr Ayad is compassionate, has a fabulous bedside manor, explains completely, takes time to hear you and respond, and is very knowledgeable about Lymphedema and its treatment.

Dr. Ayad is a wonderful and caring physician. I could not recommend him more. He saw me in the hospital during my DVT/PE. He has been very thorough and patient with me and answers all of my questions. Highly recommend if you are looking for a hematologist.

Dr ayad is a great doctor. He's very friendly and we just love him. The front desk receptionist has NO clue what she is doing. Always takes 3-4 weeks to get a rx or any important information from her. I just don't think she cares. But the doc is great!!!

We worked with Dr. Ayad, He did a wonderful job caring for my mother, I would refer anyone to him.
