Dr. Osama Mohammad Qubaiah, MD

My mom was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. She was treated by Dr. Qubaiah. At first he gave her about 6 months. He gave her options and she did chemo and newer meds. She lived 5 years and they were good years. Dr. Qubaiah could do no wrong in my mom's eyes. He was keeping no but honest. He listened to her and explained her condition. I felt he cared and gave her everything she needed. He could not cure her but she completely trusted him and felt he was the best at what he did.

Never going back

I was referred to this physician by my primary. His bedside manner, during our visit, was not great but not awful. He was clearly in a hurry. I know... pressures of being a physician today. I believe his medical care was sound, although I was somewhat confused about which tests he was ordering for me. My major concern with him came in the delivery of my results. Unfortunately, the results of one of my tests were not good. He had his office staff deliver these to me. After speaking to the woman, I still didn't quite understand what was happening. I was forced to call my primary care physician so that he could explain things to me. I do not know if I am in the minority here, but I guess I feel results that are potentially life altering should be delivered to patients by the physician in a clear way... not by the physician's office help.
