Dr. Oscar Javier Cerda, MD

This doctor needs to retire. My mother was a patient of his and ended up the a severe case of diarrhea for almost a month. She called his office several times asking what to do. They kept saying to try this and that but never asked her to get labs. I went with her on a office visit and he just told her to try some probotics as she unable to eat. After a month of this I took her to the ER as she she so weak and the first thing they asked was what were the labs results. What labs. He never got any. She ended up in the MICU for 10 days and another 10 days in a step down bed. This was the last straw with this doctor. Never again

Dr. Cerda is nice. He rarely prescribes medication, even for a cough. He is very passive.

We (both my Husband and I) have been Dr. Cerda for about 10 years. I love this guy. He is friendly and always can get us in for an appt. same day! Office staff is reasonable and I have never had any issues with getting paperwork I need or Rx needed.
