Dr. Oscar J Paz-Altschul, MD

I was a patient in 2015. Did a skin graft. Wish I would have never agreed. Dr Passed told me if it was too liquidy it would fail. Well, guess what the skin graft failed because it was too liquidy. Ever since I've had to walk around with an ugly mark on my leg where the skin was taken from.

Dr. Oscar Paz, was very unprofessional as he came into patient room asking me if my blind husband, the patient was a "Big baby" for asking for pain medication. I complained to the nurse and Dr. Paz came back into the room, not to apologize but to clarify?? What's to clarify, he insulted his patient in front of his wife. How emasculated he must have felt!

This physician is beyond exceptional. It rare to find a doctor now a days who shows as much compassion and devotion for their patients.

This Dr. has been one of the best Iv seen. Although he has a very busy schedule and I know why.. he took the time to explain my health and how to treat my wound. I was very discouraged to go and see him at first. But I sure am glad I went I could have lost my limb but because he was presistant about trying new things to not let that happen it got better and I thank him for that. He is a very nice, and shows his compassion for the work he does. Thank You so Much Dr. Paz

I had abdominal surgery that was pretty intense and the wound became infected. I was told it would heal on its own however it did not and. I was referred to Dr. Paz for wound care. My wound required cleaning and what is called a wound-vac was placed. hDr. Paz educated me on important lifestyle changes needed to improve my healing time. My wound healed without any additional complications. This would not have been possible without the care, compassion, professionalism, and knowledge Dr. Paz has. If you or a loved one has issues with wound healing I highly recommending Dr. Paz! He really cares about his patients.

Dr. Paz is a very knowledgeable and compassionate physician. He is very informative and says it as it is. No sugarcoating, he will let you know if he can help you or not. Dry but genuine sense of humor. If you need a certified wound care specialist he is the person to go. I highly recommend him without reservation.

Dr. Paz is the Best Wound Care Doctor in the Desert. He is very patient, informative and kind. I would refer him to my family and friends. If you have a wound that won't heal, you need to see him! You will not be disappointed!

One of the best doctors I have ever had. Healed my leg after I was told that it needed to be amputated. He fought to save my leg.

Having sraeted out initially on rhe wrong foot at the hospital, i found this physician and his entire back office and front office staff to be most professional, informative, concerned and caring. An all too rare combination these days. Dr. Has a very unique sense of humor that took me a while to understand. At the end of the day, he's a true gem!
