He falls asleep during my appointment on numerous occasions. Not a good doctor!

He was extremly insensitive he did not care what was going on in my life. Was NOT willing to work with my schedule and made appointments without talking with me first of wether it would work for me or not. All je cares about is the money not his paitients.

I have noticed that the doctor does not come out with the truth about things. He'll say one thing and then do exactly the opposite. People appreciate the truth. If he wishes to change his plans in the care of a patient, he should level with the person.

Nineteen years ago I was institutionalized and met Dr Payne at that time. Over the years that followed, e demonstrated his commitment to his patients and their well being. As others have said, he is courteous and correct in his dealings with patients. He is extremely knowledgeable and will take the time to explain something thoroughly. I especially appreciated his care with explaining the effects of any medications.

Dr. Otis Edd Payne is an outstanding psychiatrist. I was very ill 5 years ago when I first established with him as his patient. At this time, I am stable on medication and working in a hospital setting.Dr. Payne is kind and compassionate, extremely intelligent and knowledgeable. He knows how medications work and has helped achieved a good balance for me mentally and emotionally on my prescribed MEDS. He is a delightful gentleman. He is an interesting person. Also, he is a fine conversationalist. Dr. Payne is outstanding in his field, and I feel confident that I am seeing one of the very best doctors in Psychiatry.
