Dr. Otis Lawrence Stitt III, MD

I'm starting off with the good: Dr. Stitt seemed personable, and knowledgeable. He explained what procedures were available to me well, and took his time during all appointments. The Acessa procedure itself gave me relief from fibroid symptoms. The bad, however, is very bad. He ripped me and gave me hernias and bleeding with bowel movements for months after the uterine biopsy. Specifics: He injured me during the uterine biopsy (required for the Acessa procedure he performed later) and would not acknowledge that he did so. My gynecologist when I went to be checked out said that it looked like I had given birth (I have no children). He used the speculum like a carjack. I have not had painful Pap smears prior to this. The rod he used to flush out the uterus he had at a terrible angle and jerked it around. I screamed and he did not adjust it. I could not use tampons and bled with bowel movements for months. He did not give me support after or admit he had done this to me.

All I can say without being long winded is that this is a phenomenal doctor. You will never go wrong with having him as your care provider.

Dr Stitt, is a great doctor. He makes you feel extremely at ease and he knows what he is talking about. I was apprehensive at first about having a male doctor but he really puts your mind at ease and makes you feel very comfortable. He genuinely cares about his patients and you can tell by his actions.I would recommend him to anyone looking for a doctor!!

Dr. Stitt was my daughters OB physician and he was wonderful to our entire family . His bedside manner is exceptional and when she delivered he was the best he was actually on his way home from the office when she was about to deliver and turned around to come back and deliver her baby . He is an excellent example of a caring and compassionate physician and we can't thank him enough. His staff is also wonderful!!!!

Dr. Stitt is wonderful. My last OB/GYN is no longer delivering babies and Dr. Stitt is now taking his place. When I first met him he was very friendly, put me at ease, and assured me he was going to be there at anytime. Since then I have had numerous questions, concerns, and also have had to make a few emergency appointments. He is always available and is a wonderful man. I would reccomend him to anyone. My husband did not want us to have a male delivering the baby and now he, even though he does not want to admit it, is very glad we chose him. Everyone in the Maryland are should pick this doctore. WONDERFUL...Also, he delivers at the BEST hospital to have a baby ever..MERCY...

I am VERY high risk and never carried full term. Him and his wife was very caring and understanding to my situation and ensured that I carried as long as physically possible. I managed to carry to 36 weeks.....4 weeks longer than I did with my other 3 children! He's a wonderful person and doctor and I recommend him for my friends and family.

Dr. Otis Stitt is the doctor that I have ever had. This is my first pregnancy, and even though I didn't want a male doctor, I am so glad that I chose him. He make me feel so comfortable during my visits. I plan for Dr. Stitt to be my OB/GYN for any pregnancy that I have.
