Dr. Pablo Martin Bedano, MD

He has no personality, very sterile and distant: this is not good when patients need compassion and need to feel that their Dr. is there for them. Its just a job for him; an intellectual challenge. He was rude and when he left he just walked out--didn't say "bye" hope you get what you need." NOTHING! He needs to come down to earth and connect with people. His day will come and I hope the compassion that he failed to give others that he will receive from others.

Very caring and compassionate

My surgeon referred me to Dr. Bedano after finding cancer cells in a tumor. I have done great amount of research on the cancer cells found and when I went to see Dr. Bedano he walked in sat down and proceeded to talk to me and basically tell me he knew nothing about my situation I had nothing to worry about and nothing further needs to be done. As he continued talking everything he was saying was the complete opposite of what I have researched and in forums with other people that had the same cancer cells also talked about how many oncologists don't know about this cancer because it is so rare and to find one who is familiar with this cancer. as he talked to me he reviewed my file and back tracked on a lot of things he said which made me very uncomfortable.

Dr. Bedano has a horrible bedside manner. If you aren't there as one of his cancer patients, then he has no time for you. I would expect a high level of service offered to all patients, but Dr. Bedano's service is below the mark.

Dr DeBano was very professional. I felt confident he would do an excellent job. His nurse practioner was also excellent. I received th best care possible.

Recent insurance changes caused me to find a new Hematologist. Dr. Bedano is listed as someone that accepts my insurance so I made an appt. I fully explained my diagnosis and situation to the office staff but when I went to the appt. Dr. Bedano said he was not willing to see me due to the rarity of my diagnosis. He mentioned that I would not have to worry about refills on my meds because he had spoken with the clinic I was attending and that they would be taking care of refills until I found a doctor I could see. After the appt. with Dr. Bedano I went to pick up prescriptions I had requested earlier in the week, from my previous clinic, and was advised that since I was seeking a new doctor they would no longer be giving me any refills. I'm now in a very stressful situation. I'm not going to say Dr. Bedano lied to me but there are some pretty obvious communication issues here on Dr. Bedano's end. Very unprofessional. It also seems like the office staff does not communicate with the… doctor as I made my diagnosis quite clear to them several times before the appt.

I would recommend Dr. Bedano to anyone in need of a cancer doctor. He looked at every avenue possible to make sure I was clear of any cancer cells. He was very efficient and his staff were very helpful and friendly! Thank you to all of them for keeping me calm.
