Dr. Padmaja Sai, MD

after three years at Jacksonville MDA ANderson, and three years of fatigue and loss of of quality of life…. none of which was acknowledged in the once-in -every three week, 10-minute teleconference (I live in Ponce), I went to Dr. Sai, who scheduled me for chemo a week later and hydration two days after that. Never was that discussed at MDA . Dr Sai, Alex, Sharon... I never want to leave them!!!!

I had her as a doctor, almost died because of her. Barely saw her and when I did she acted like she didn't care. Her assistant saw me most of the time and blew me off when i said I was in pain for a month. Found out through another doctor my tumor grew enormously in that month and blocked my intestines and was strangling my colon.

In the last five and a half months of chemotherapy with Dr. Sai and her staff, I received nothing but kindness, caring and concern for my overall health. I am so glad that I have her as my doctor.

i am a retired nursing supervisor, one who is critical of the medical good and bad. i am also a patient of dr. padmaja and her team. i must tell you i have never in my 50 years 0f nursing ever met such an outstanding team of professionals. this includes not only dr. sai, but i am also including her P.A.s, her techs, her clerical staff and all members of her team. what makes them so special to me is not only their experience, professionalism and knowledge, it is their compassion, their caring and everything that goes with it. they treat every patient like family, treating everyone as individuals addressing their individual needs as far as the nurses, again i have never met such a team of professional with the know how to meet every need of the patients. the teamwork that i observe is outstanding. i have trained many nurses in my day, but i must say dr. sai is very lucky to have such a great group of nurses on her team. when i was first was diagnosed, coming from new york, i was ready to… hop in my truck and head north to my comfort zone. but when i thought hard i realized that not all medical people are bad or lets put it this way.they have to be given a chance. well i stayed and i must say, it was the best decision i ever made. dr sai, dr cashio and the entire staff saved my life and are determined to keep me alive as well as the other patients. the devotion of this team is unsurpassed as far as im concerned. i wouldnt have it any other way. love them ALL!! thank you from the bottom of my heart. ramona

I am a patient of Dr Sai’s . When one has to see an oncologist it is a very scary time . This Dr. and her whole staff from the very first call I received have been nothing but kind caring and helpful. I love the whole office . I truly don’t know what I would have done with out them . I am not the kind of person that seeks second opinions and I have all the faith in my Dr. Sai . I feel truly blessed to have found this dr and her staff

WOW. Where do I start. Let's start with Dr Sai personality. I remember when my wife was rediagnosed and we asked if there were any alternatives to chemo because of the side effects we experienced the last time. She actually said "who studied for 12 yrs?" Really? This is how you treat a patient who just learned of a relapse? Let's talk about the lack of respect she shows her patients and family. To make room for more customers the family is now required wait on stools for the hours of treatment instead of anything comfortable regardless of the family's age. Now let's talk about oversight. On a loading dose the staff started us 1 1/2 hours late so they just sped the rate of flow so they could leave on time. My wife started to lose consciousness and treatment had to be stopped abruptly. Dr Sai never addressed the actions of the staff and my wife was very sick because of it. Now let's talk about the overdose for 7 months. The nurse weighs you in but nobody oversees the dosing. My… wife was losing weight and ended up losing 38lbs. As her treatment progressed NO ONE ever adjusted her dose despite her complaints that she was getting sicker with each treatment. Here's my favorite. The NURSE tells us that we have to continue treatment for another 3 months. When I asked why she stated "because of the results of her biopsy." I shouted SHE NEVER HAD A BIOPSY!!!! Dr Sai never apologized, addressed it, or even talked to us about this. WHY IS THE NURSE PRESCRIBING CONTINUED CHEMO????!!!! DO NOT USE THIS DR !!!!!!!!! THIS PLACE IS A CHEMO FACTORY and does not care about its patients. BEWARE I take this very seriously and will talk with anyone who wants more information about this. Please PM me. If I could find a way to criminally charge this DR I would. Where there is smoke there's fire. My gut is that she will end up in the news one day.

Dr. Sai and her staff are all top notch. I have complete confidence in her.

Dr Sai took care of my mother in law and my friend’s father. Both received excellent care and Dr Sai was caring and compassionate. The nurses were great too, always making sure patients were comfortable. Front staff was nice and helpful. MAs were gentle and sweet!

Dr. Sai treated me for breast cancer. Any type of cancer upsets one's whole world. Dr. Sai and her staff are some of the most understanding and compassionate people I have ever known. They answered all my questions and added any additional information they felt would be helpful. A cancer diagnosis is rough for the person and the family and I can't think of anyone more equipped to meet my needs that Dr. Sai and her staff. I would highly recommend her to anyone
