Dr. Padmaja Vemula, MD

It's random who they assign when you get admitted, but luckily my 61-year old dad got Dr Vemula. We could not be happier with her care. Unfortunately, we got assigned a different doc after three days, who was not as confident and caring as Dr Vemula.

During my 4-day stay at the hospital, my days and nights became easier directly because of the wonderful care I received from Dr. Vemula and her nurses.

In general, El Camino doctors are very talented but they are cocky too. Dr Vemula is both highly talented and humble. I’d visit her again.

It is tricky to get access to her but she is a great doc. I saw her two times in the past. Both times she didn't spend much time but she exactly knew what questions to ask. I have no complaints! Will see her again.

Good experience overall. She was as concerned about my general whole health as she was about my immediate medical needs. She was very genuine and built trust and rapport with me and my family. I was hospitalized for chemical respiratory issues. El Camino was a super posh hospital.

Let me just say that Dr Vemula treats the whole person, not just whatever symptoms you walk in with. And El Camino is a beautiful hospital.

We really wish she expands her hours.

Dr Vemula was so friendly and I am very thankful for her care for us when we needed most.

Just this morning I got discharged from El Camino Hospital. Although I was only in the hospital for one day, I got to know Dr Vemula very well. Her energy is contagious. She is so sharp too. She always patiently answered all my concerns. If I have a choice, I will want to see her again.

We saw her at El Camino Hospital on a couple of visits last week. My aunt was hospitalized and we had Dr Vemula taking care of her. El Camino doctors can be cocky in my experience, but she was such a darling. Our family loved her. She was a bit hard to get hold of though. That was my only concern.
