Dr. Paige Bua Tomcho, DO

I've been to Dr. Tomcho 2-3 times and I just don't feel comfortable. She made me feel like I was on the defensive about my medication and like one other reviewer said I felt like she treated me like a child and not an adult. I also got charged a copay for a physical (which is fine since I have insurance). I got charged because during the physical when asked how I was doing..which is what a physical is all about, I commented on my headaches. So that went from a physical appt. to a regular appt. where they can charge a different price, etc. What the heck is physical if you don't about your health? Somewhat sneaker if you ask me. Needless to say I"m presently looking for another General Doctor.

I have been a patient of Dr. Tomcho for about 9 years, and I have every confidence in her. She is very knowledgeable and professional. She spends the time with me that it takes to get my issues addressed, and when necessary she refers me to a specialist.

Doesn't do anything. Sends everyone to a specialist.

I am a young woman with chronic pain that i have been dealing with for the past 15 years, along with sleeping and menstrual problems. Doctor tomcho was my gp and I had 4 appointments with her. the only problem she truly aknowlaged was my anxiety. I feel she didn't take me as seriously about my pain as she could have. atleast she wasnt rude

So I hate to discount Dr. Tomcho because I do not think she is a bad doctor or uncaring. However, I think this practice (and there are only 2 doctors there, Dr. Tomcho having been there the longest) tries to "nickel and dime" their patients. If you are on a medication... no matter how safe and routine the medication or how long you have been on it... you have to follow-up every 6 mos as opposed to every year. I could live with that. However, the last time I was sick it was also time to follow up and get a refill. I was told that I would have to make a separate appointment to follow-up with the medication. I'm talking a routine medication that required no blood work that I had been on for over 3 years without issue. That's when I said bye-bye to this practice and they lost an entire family of insured patients. I am also a health care provider in a different specialty and this can be about nothing other than making money. I am insured, but have a co-pay at each visit... and more and more… people are paying for their healthcare completely out of their own pocket. It angers me with all that is happening in health care today that a physician would deliberately cause an increase in cost for an unnecessary office visit. Things like this are part of the problem and why we find our country in a crisis with healthcare today.

Very abrupt and felt that she didn't really listen to my questions or concerns. I felt like she was talking to me as if I was a child not an adult patient.

Dr. Tomcho is, without a doubt, the best doctor I have ever had in my 61 years. She is always willing to listen and hear what I have to say. She is compassionate, highly skilled, and extremely knowledgable and caring. I respect and admire her dedication to her patients. After I had had some serious surgery on my back, she continually checked up on my progress. She really cares about her patients. Her entire staff is kind, caring, and welcoming.

Dr. Tomcho has always been caring and courteous every visit I have had with her. I would not change doctors on my own accord for any reason.The staff has also been very courteous and helpful. Overall, on a scale from one to ten, I'd rate this group an eleven.
