Dr. Pamela Louise Coury, MD

Dr. Pamela Coury is zero help. She shows a distinct lack of care for her patients. Whenever I came in sick, she merely told me to take a spoonful of honey. When it came down to me needing a surgery and needing blood panels ordered, she refused to help me because the surgeon came from outside of Hawthorne. No exception at all. She will not aid you in anything that has to do outside of that building, no matter if it's an emergency or not. That's very odd, seeing as MY own primary doctor doesn't want to help me with my health and forbids me from getting help from anyone else. I will be finding a new PCP ASAP.

Every visit I look forward to because I know my situation will get solved efficiently. She treats me with respect and dignity. Remembers past visits and asks about progress. She explains things thoroughly and is polite to explain again if necessary. All around my favorite doctor.

She doesn’t want to be a doctor all she can do is send referrals to every other doctor and asks me what the other doctor is going to do about it please save yourself stay far away

Dr. Coury was efficient yet friendly and didn't make me feel as though I was just "another patient". Very knowledgeable and helpful. I did wish that Hawthorn put up the test results on the patient portal more quickly, or at all. I haven't seen them yet (bloodwork, etc) and it has been over a month since my appointment. This may not reflect on Dr. Coury, as I'm not sure she is the person who would do that.

gave up after waiting 45 minutes for my scheduled appointment. nurse ignored me waiting there, refused to talk to me. so did Dr Coury when she came out. no one seemed to care about me as a patient. secretary just kept apologizing but couldn't do anything or give me a reason why the service was so bad. Coury's OK if you get to see her but the rest of the office is ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. stay far away.
