Dr. Howard is friendly, warm, and genuine. The front office staff, on the other hand, need to be replaced. Probably some of the rudest gals I've come across in years.

Dr.Howard is a good doctor but her front office is the WORST. All you get is a voice mail box and no one ever returns your call. It is FRUSTRATING!!!!!!

Staff at new facility us horrible!!! Sandy ins rude and lacks manners as well the rest of the staf seems absent. Like Dr. Howard; can not stand the new staff!

Dr. Howard has changed practices and the office staff is terrible. Every time I request a new prescription, there's a foul-up. I even told them that last time and they STILL called it in wrong. I'm allergic to the generic, they know that from my chart, but they don't request the name brand, and it was the wrong dosage as well. Dr. Howard is nice but what's the point of having a good doctor if you can't get the correct medication?

I saw Dr. Howard for a consultation for what other neurologists were calling "ocular migraines." As a nurse and with my extensive well paid for knowledge, I knew this was not right. Dr. Howard took the time to listen to me and my medical history. I'm happy to say that after 6 years of crazy symptoms and no one being able to figure out what was wrong, it was DR. HOWARD who figured out that I've been having seizures this whole time. I highly recommend her!! Oh, and for the poor review...fyi if a physician decides to terminate care, they HAVE to send you written notification by regular mail AND by certified mail. They must also list the reason for the termination, and agree to 30 days of MAINTENANCE medications. 30 days gives you plenty of time to find a new doctor. And given my experience with Dr. Howard, I find it very difficult to believe that she would "drop you" with no help.

I disagree with the prior reviewer. Dr. Howard is obviously very knowledgeable. She spent an extraordinary amount of time (nearly an hour) personally reviewing my history and discussing my headaches. Since I think this area of medicine requires a lot of thought, unlike treating an infection, I was impressed with the level of detail and thoroughness of her questions. Like most female physicians, she was very approachable, not arrogant and dismissive. Her staff was helpful and polite. She seems to be one of those doctors that understands there is as much art as science involved in her specialty. I would certainly recommend her to someone I cared about.

Dr. Howard claims to be a headache specialist. She is too committed to her "approach" to treat severe migraine disease. She never requested my extensive records from previous doctors. When she decided my case was too difficult, after two visits and a lot of chasing for migraine treatment prescriptions, she dropped me and did not provide me with sufficient migraine medication (non-narcotic) to help me until I could find a new doctor. The doctors to whom she referred me were either in Houston and not covered by my insurance or were not migraine specialists. Her nurse was completely ineffective and incompetent.
