Dr. Pamela Hilary Kasenetz, MD

She is very focused, business-like and to-the-point, which some have considered rude. She is very clear in giving instructions and typically writes down notes to give the patient. Recently, she has been improving her patient relations for a more relaxed visit. We even talked about a mutual TV show last time.

Dr. Kasenetz diagnosed my problem as acid reflux. I later sought a second opinion from doctors at Johns Hopkins and they discovered my stomach was twisted 180 degrees. I underwent surgery and am recovering now. 80% of the people with this condition die within five years due to a ruptured stomach or intestinal wall. I was very lucky I sought a second opinion.

I've moved around a lot over the last decade, so I've gone to several doctors, and I can honestly say Dr. Kasenetz is the best doctor I've ever had. I've seen her a few times now, and I've never felt rushed. She's a great listener who encourages questions and makes me feel comfortable discussing my medical concerns. She's extremely knowledgeable too. I know I'm in good hands with Dr. Kasenetz.

Dr. Pamela Kasenetz was a breath of fresh air. I recently left a Dr. because I felt like they didn't even look up at me or care. Her pleasant professional manners ease us all into telling her our individual truths, answering her inciteful questions, and following her guidance. Dr.Pam is honest with each of us. She even includes insurance and out of pocket costs in her discussions and decisions. Grandma' has complex problems that Dr. Pam understands and guides well. Dr.Pam writes her directions and gives the page to us to take home & follow. Most lab work can be done conveniently within the same building. Doctor herself has called when test results warrant otherwise her nurses call promptly whether 'normal' or 'needs attention'. After a year with Dr. Pamela Kasenetz included within our family health decisions, we are all glad to be under her care. [most pleasant surprise & major relief for this mom!]

Dr. Pamela Kasenetz has moved to Falls Church Medical Center. We followed her there and are MOST pleased we did! Dr. Pam has made time for us, listened carefully, asked pertinent questions of us, and successfully treated and cared for each member of our family. She follows up with us in timely manner. She remains pleasant without being condescending nor imperious. Easy to phone for appointments. Urgent needs have been most promptly met. Often needed lab work can be done right then & there. We have received results promptly. Dr. Pam has been good about considering our opinions along with costs too. She even gives each of us a written summary of discussions and decisions. We recommend her without reservation.
