Dr. Pamela Rhoda Kushner, MD

Dr. Kushner delivers excellent medical care- she's busy with teaching but is caring and takes time with patients. However, it is hard to get an appointment with her, usually a 3 month wait- the other doctors in her office handle anything that can't wait but they are not as good as she is. And when she is there, she runs late, usually at least an hour, because she does take time with each patient. She conducts a very thorough physical, and likes to run many lab tests (too many?).

I've been seeing Dr. Kushner for about 20 years. Found her name in a list of Doctors who accepted my retired military insurance so I called her. Smartest thing I've done in my life. She finds potentially serious problems and takes care of them way before they affect my life. Even when I disagree, she convinces me to take medical precautions. There have been several incidents where she has convinced me to do things that proved vital to my good health. I am now 70 years old and truly believe I may not have gotten here if I had picked a different name from that list.

Has been my doctor for 20 years, wouldn't go anywhere else. Stays up to date on latest research and clinical studies, is very thorough, very professional, and very caring.

Great doctor. She really cares.
