Dr. Pamela Mehta, MD

The burning question is...why didn't I go see Dr. Mehta earlier?!? My quality of life has improved significantly since I first sought her care. As it turns out, she didn't treat me directly (yet). Instead, she took the time to thoroughly understand my situation and referred me to two specialists who I have been seeing since. She explained her recommendations in a way that made me comfortable. She made herself available for follow-up questions and checked in on me periodically to make sure that I was getting the care that I needed. The specialists that she referred me to made time for me in their busy, over-booked schedules because they respect her and her patients. My journey with Dr. Mehta had been great so far and I am so thrilled that I found her. If you are suffering mobility issues or debilitating pain, make time to see her. You'll be glad you did.

I am so impressed by (and grateful) for the care given to me by Dr. Pamela Mehta. Any time I get the opportunity to give her a referral or recommendation I can’t resist. The level of care she provides far surpasses that of any other doctor I have ever seen. I was so impressed with Dr. Mehta’s approach. She patiently explained every detail of my ACL reconstruction surgery, and really took the time to listen and answer all the questions I had. If I ever have to refer anybody I know to an orthopedic surgeon, I will insist they see Dr. Mehta! There isn’t anybody else I would go to if I needed surgery again. When your children like to run around barefoot it is inevitable that they will eventually get something lodged into their foot. Our daughter was climbing some trees in our backyard and wedged a couple splinters deep in her foot. After a few hours of attempts at home to remove these splinters with our own tweezers, soaking the feet, various internet remedies (and lots of scared screaming from our daughter when we got near her with tweezers) we sought the help of Dr. Mehta. Dr. Mehta's kind and calming approach was most helpful when she quickly examined the foot, spoke with our daughter, and then removed the two splinters from her foot. She helped to keep our daughter calm during the procedure and deftly pulled out the splinters. We recommend Dr. Mehta to anyone needing an expert physician who can deal with delicate patients!

This review is long overdue from a very happy and ever so grateful patient! I was having major shoulder pain to the point where I couldn't raise my left shoulder. I decided to go to Dr. Mehta after a friend recommended me to her. Dr. Mehta was very attentive during our initial apt. She was quickly able to diagnose the root cause of my shoulder issue and explained the how and why I ended up with this pain. Her treatment plan involved me doing various mobility exercises and after two weeks I can honestly say I am at least 50% better. I think a few other Yelp reviewers mentioned this but I have to say it again, Dr Mehta truly cares about her patients and it was very apparent from how she followed up with my recovery. She called and emailed me to make sure I was following the plan and kept up with all my progress. I'm not sure how Dr Mehta finds the time to do all this but after my experience with her, I can say with certainty that she is a very skillful doctor and I have 100% trust in… her.

Everything about my visit was amazing. I feel I received personalized service from Dr. Mehta, and it started with her front desk staff who got me an appointment the next day. Dr. Mehta spent time with me and discussed multiple options for my knee pain, as I'm hoping not to have a knee replacement! Very impressed with her demeanor and bedside manner. Will absolutely be going back!

Dr Mehta was fabulous! Thankfully her treatment plan was so effective and efficient I didn’t need surgery. Her office is clean and comfortable. Her staff is friendly and knowledgeable. And Dr Mehta’s bedside manner is unbeatable. She was able to set my mind at ease as soon as I walked in. Getting my X-rays done right in the office was an added bonus!

I recently saw Dr. Mehta for chronic Achilles’ tendon pain and received PRP and cortisone injections. She was extremely approachable, thorough, and kind during the entire process including what treatment would be best for me given my history and previous treatments. She has been very helpful in following up and ensuring my treatments are on the path towards success. She is understanding throughout what has been a long and painful injury and she really cares about healing. I would highly recommend her and her office and couldn’t imagine receiving better care than with Dr. Mehta!

Saw Mehta due to a fracture bone. Said will call after surgery, did not call. Said will provide a treatment plan due to in my view, a possible miss-diagnosis, did not provide. Very disappointed. Ran away to see other doctor, much happier and the fracture bone is recovering.
