Dr. Pamela Ruth Stimler, MD

I had this doctor for what i would say about 15 years or so now and i love her to death she is not just a doctor she becomes like family she listens and she care's and most important you come first she is not just a doctor who is in it for a paycheck.

Very bad experience. I even did not get to see a doctor, just left the office. The staff is very rude. It happened that I forgot my insurance card, but I had Medicaid card and all other documentations. They refused to go to the system to check my eligibility. I called my husband to bring my card to the doctors office, but they said, that I have to reschedule the appointment. It was my third day at new job and I took a day off to see the doctor, but they did not want to check my eligibility and did not want my husband to bring my card (it could take less than 20 minutes). They said, that other people would wait, but it was only two patients in the office, one in the waiting room and another with a doctor. I have never seen anything like that. I just left the office, I even do not want their service. It is self explaining.

Dr. Stimler is very attentive, professional, caring and thorough physician. It is rare to find a doctor that takes all of your health concerns seriously. I wasn't reluctant to share anything with her. Your concerns matter to her and that is a unique quality. She also makes house calls. I was disappointed about how far from my home her Brooklyn office was, but after my first visit with her, it was definitely worth the drive. She was wonderful.

Dr. Stimler to my mind is just a totally tremendous doctor, and she is a personal pleasure to deal with! I regret that I did not come across this doctor until recently, as she is SO thorough, HUMANE, personable, and very expertised. The doctor, in my estimation, takes a VERY personal interest in you, and is not at all concerned with clock-watching...will give you as much time as you require to speak about a given health issue. Furthermore, unlike most doctor's, who will drag you back into their office to render test results in person (for extra $$$!), Dr. Stimler will give you a call by phone to let you know how your tests went. Very reflective of her kindness and consideration. She also writes a website on various health issues which are excellent - if you google her name, you can find the website. So on that note, I highly recommend that you consider using Dr. Stimler if you are seeking an excellent internist....she is VERY much that!

While the Dr. is good, find another doctor. Her Queens office staff person is very uncooperative and difficult to deal with.

She gets back to you and more importantly listens to you. Good doctor

There was virtually no wait time. The staff was very professional and courteous. The office was clean and comfortable. Dr. Stimler was extremely professional and took the time necessary to explain my results thoroughly. An excellent experience overall.
