Dr. Pamela Lynne Vincent, MD

Pam worked with me for many years after I suffered from a stroke at age 18. She worked diligently to diagnose the root of my problem and address the most efficient and effective methods of recovery as well as prevention. She was down to earth, honest, and pleasant to work with. If you have brain problems, go visit Pam!

Starting with the staff that works there everything was a horrible experience, they don't have any idea of what they are doing, they have me waiting for more than an hour just to started asking me about my "drug addiction" I was trying to figure it out what they were talking about, until finally I explain to them that I was there because of the results of a brain MRI, they were apologizing, but the truth is they can't even give you an appointment, they have this man with several disabilities, that came from Salt Lake City on bus for at leas more than FOUR HOURS! waiting because they made a mistake with his appointment! the doctor never show any sign of having an idea of what she was talking about, I will never come back, still trying to find neurologist.

I had the worst experience with Dr. Vincent. She is very vague, her answers are never direct, and her examination was not thorough at all. She was dresses in sandals and a short skirt, unprofessional in my opinion, and she didn't give me any help to my problem at all. I wouldn't recommend her to anyone asking for a reference.

I've been a patient of Dr Vincent for years off and on. I don't have to go often, fortunately. She is a nice person, and I think she really cares, but often doesn't do a good job showing it. Sometimes she seems impersonal, but I think she's just shy in reality. She's very well educated and is a true expert. She could, however, dramatically improve on 2 things, and I hope she reads this. 1- Promptness. She does not do a good job staying on time, and I've had 9:30 am appointments with her and she doesn't come in until 10:15 or so. I'm not sure why she has a hard time being prompt and punctual, but it's a weakness that she could easily fix. 2- Bedside manner and professionalism. Like I said, sometimes she doesn't act interested in me as a patient, and comes of as cold. Maybe she's just tired because she's been doing this so long, but she should wake up and be more courteous. She also does not dress very professional. That's not a big deal, but I think most people expect their Neurologist… to be dressed in professional attire, not converse kickers and jeans. With these weakness, I think she is a great doctor and has provided me with good medical care and accurate diagnoses. The major strength of the clinic has always been the staff. Carly has been there for years and is wonderful. There used to be a young man that worked there a couple years ago that was also good, and it's unfortunate that he moved. I think he went to medical school or PA school. Overall: Good doctor, could improve. Great staff.

It was decently easy to get an appointment to see her but when she read my test results she said they were inconclusive but believed me, which was good. We kept upping my medication and were talking about a VNS which sounded wonderful to me. I spent a few nights in the hospital and she came the first but the second week didn't come at all. The on-call hospital neurologist didn't find anything conclusive so my medications were cut in *half*. I was so disappointed that she never asked me any questions, nor did the hospital neurologist. She did refer me to one of the best doctors in the field for my disorder and I am very happy to see him, but her bedside manner and communication with you was severely lacking. She is competent in her field but lacking in people skills :/ Well I'll put it this way; she was a nice person but a not so great in patient-doctor decorum. When I find a new neurologist I will probably not see her any more.

My 13 yr old daughter had a headache for 3 weeks which had not let up for even one minute in that 3 week time frame. Pam Vincent checked her reflexes, looked in her eyes, had her walk a straight line and then handed me a handful of Zomig samples for her. She told me if she still has her headache in a month to come back in for a follow up. No effort to even make a diagnosis. The Zomig did nothing to help her and she still has her headache. Currently on the wait list to see another neurologist. I WILL NOT GO BACK TO DR. VINCENT!

Dr. Vincent, I found this rating questionaire while looking for your phone number. You are without a doubt the best doctor I've ever had the privelge to see. Your spirit totally encourages me-it is very powerful. I've never experienced anything like it. I know you care about me and my family; that we are not just a number. I appreciate that more than you can know.You have helped me get my life on tract, be a better dad, and attend college. Wow, that's preety good huh? Thank you Ma'am.

After a surgery to remove a tumor, my surgeon referred me to Dr. Vincent to try and diagnose my headaches. I'm not someone who needs scientific proof for everything, but when it comes to doctors and my body, I like to stay within the tested norm, with proof that the medicine or procedure will work. As such, I was a little worried when I found out the office was shared with an acupuncturist, but decided to give it a try anyways. Big mistake. I worked on a mountain of repetitive paperwork for twenty minutes, then waited another fifteen before being brought back to the examination room. What an unproffessional atmosphere. They had some overpowering smell that bumped my headache up from a 4 to a 7 alone. There was one sad little lamp in the corner, the only source of light in the whole room, and a giant chinese screen covered half the wall. Chinese posters of acupuncture were above the bed, and it was really hard to take it seriously. The nurse was actually really professional. She took my… history (which was long and involved, and took about fifteen minutes), took my blood pressure, and went to go get the doctor. We waited another hour before she finally came in. How she could be an hour behind for a 9:00 appointment, I have no idea. She looked comfy, but not particularly professional. While the nurse had been dressed in scrubs (I hadn't minded the nose ring), Dr. Vincent was wearing a t-shirt, sweat pants, and converse. *I* was more professionally dressed than her, having class after the appointment. She didn't look at the detailed history her nurse had typed up for her or the notes my ENT had sent to her office, and just asked me the same questions all over again. Her face got more and more confused as I explained, and then she performed various tests that had already been done before by non-specialists; shining lights into my eyes, having me touch my nose, walk across the room, get stabbed with a pin, etc. Finally, when everything looked normal, she said, "Huh... I don't know, what do YOU think is causing it?" The only helpful part of the appointment was that I was able to schedule an MRI on the floor below right when I got out, which I will use when I go find a competent neurologist to diagnose me.

I always have to wait at least 40 minutes to get into my appointment. She doesn't know who I am and reviews my entire file while I am in the room and her charging me for it. Then she tells me there's nothing wrong with me and will not fill out any of my forms. Then prescribes me medication (depacote) for supposed lack of injury. I have headaches all the time that started with a car accident, but apparently I have nothing wrong with me, but I need medications for it?

You did not shake my hand or greet me kindly when I visited your office for the first time.... you did not smile once at all. You said very few words to me , made me feel like I was a nobody. At least your staff was very friendly.
