Dr. Pamela Janelle Wills

I'm writing this review 16 years after Dr. Wills almost cost me my life. I was 40 years old, having some period complications and she recommended I have a complete hysterectomy since I was done having kids and my tubes were tied. She said she could do the surgery laparoscopically and I would only need to miss 2 weeks of work. I woke from surgery with a 7" Nike Swoosh of a scar along my pubic area, randomly stapled together and was told by her "it was just easier to cut me open". When she came by the next day it was obvious she was under the influence of pills and/or alcohol (we could smell it on her breath). 2 days after my surgery I started vomiting bile and had an NG tube placed. On day 5 after my surgery I was rushed to a 2nd (emergency surgery with a 50:50 survival rate) due to a bowel obstruction. My entire family was called to the hospital for the second surgery because the doctor wasn't sure I would pull through. When I woke the next day, the surgeon who saved my life said it… looked like my entire intestines had just been picked up and dumped back in my body. Oh and I had an additional 8" scar from my diaphragm to my pubic area (a big upside down T). They removed 1000 cc's of blood and blood clots from my abdomen and had to resect a lot of my intestines due to the damage she caused (they had been cut in several places). After 21 days in the hospital I was able to go home but wasn't able to work for 6 months! I lost my car, almost lost my home, could barely care for my 4 year old and still have complications to this day. When I went to my follow up appointment, Dr. Wills came in and it was obvious she had been crying. When I asked if she was ok, she told me her husband of 13 years had asked for divorce because he was gay, her office administrator had embezzled over $300k from her and her mentor had died....all in the last few weeks. It's was clear why she was using pills and/or alcohol, sadly while still performing surgeries. Do not let her flashy jewelry and funny personality fool you. She is not a good doctor and should not be practicing medicine!

I have been a patient of Dr. Wills for over 40 years. She has treated me through thick and thin. I was a high risk patient and she walked me through it perfectly. Highly recommend. She literally goes above and beyond.

Bad hysterectomy and caused damage later that warranted another surgery. Wait time is outrageous!

I'm writing this 19 years later. She was an awful dr. Recommended and set up an appointment to have an aboration because "I wouldn't be able to carry another child due to complications from previous pregnancy". Needless to say after second option, and never going back to her, I had a healthy baby with no complications!! She was going through a divorce and didn't have time nor cared about her patients. I hope she isn't a dr. Now!

Horrible doctor & loves to do unnecessary surgeries. Several of us started getting second opinions & found it out the hard way. Our records were reviewed by other obgyns & they were shocked by all that she had done without reason. AVOID HER AT ALL COSTS!

I saw Dr. Wills when I was pregnant in 2001. I am writing this review in 2013. Dr. Wills was very thorough and if anything looked off, she double and triple checked it. Even in labor she made sure I didn't feel anything more than mildly uncomfortable. I live an hour and a half from her clinic in Little Rock, Arkansas and I am ready to drive that distance just to see her. No other doctor like her! Love her, I must because I am writing this 12 years later. She made an impression.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS DOCTOR. She put my granddaughter in great danger , did not do the right thing....Please, stay away from this person!

Dr. Wills delivered both of my babies and I miss her dearly. She was always easy to talk to and had a way of making you feel at ease. I was just sick when I heard she was taking a leave of absense. I still miss her and wish she was still my doctor.

I know Dr.Wills is not in the same location. Is she still seeing patients?

I loved Dr Wills as a doctor. But the last time I went in for my regular exam, I waited over an hour and a half in the exam room for her. No one ever came. I put my clothes on and left - and no one seemed to care. The wait time was always ridiculous at her clinic-but that was the final straw. She's a good ob...but once you have your baby, it will be worth your time to move on. And her staff is NOT friendly.
