Always takes extra time and care during our visits.

Dr. Vaidya is terrific with our kids and has a great manner about him. We have young ones, so this is important. He is also not the kind of doctor who just orderes test after test to ring up the insurance bill, and is not going to over-prescribe drugs just because our kids are sneezing. When our youngest got real sick, he even followed up with a personal phone call a few days later just to check in. Who does that, anymore? What does stink is the office staff. They are largely incapable of anything technologically inclined (try faxing something to them and they'll pick up the fax line and say, "hello...hello...". Not just once. They basically don't get it. Also, they don't do email. And by that, I mean they literally don't know how to use email. And frankly, the staff just are not that nice. I got the feeling the doctor is stuck with these folks. It's not his practice (based on names on doors, and stuff). For the record, we wrote this review while the doctor was practicing at 3600… Leonardtown Rd. in Waldorf. If he moves practices or something, please disregard the office staff comments. The point of a doctor is medical. We'll deal with poor office staff in order to get a great doctor.
