Dr. Parmjit Singh Aujla, MD

As a former patient of the most excellent Dr. Alpana Goswami, I took for granted Dr. Aujla would be a suitable replacement. I was mistaken. Aside from the billing issues I experienced post transition, the quality of care is almost non-existent. Dr Aujla is difficult to understand/slurring, and lax at continuity of care regarding necessary and recommended testing milestones. This is quite remarkable considering the time spent staring at the computer and patient record during a visit. Prescriptions are late to be refilled and often require multiple follow ups as the pharmacy doesn't receive a timely response for refill confirmations. It's almost as if he is eager to rid himself of existing clientele and position himself for retirement. He seems to be running on auto-pilot. Apart from some of the caring staff carried over from Dr. Goswami's Rockville office, there is no reason I could recommend this practice, however one particular hire is very rude and not suited for customer service.

Excellent physician, who cares for patients, not money. Spend time with patients, excellent bedside manners, unordinary way of communication. You feel you are talking to your family member, not a doctor. Office site very convenient. The office is well arranged and clean. The office staff is very much courteous and warm well coming. Wait time is only 5-10 minutes

I have never met a rude GP like this doctor. Made me feel bad and extremely uncomfortable and was very condescending. Not a good listener and very dismissive. Extremely bad communication skills and bedside manner. Mumbled and refused to make eye contact. Either looked at the floor or closed his eyes while talking! Very bizarre. Does not answer questions properly at all. Extremely hard to understand what he says. Will never visit again.

One of the worse doctors I've ever had. Extremely rude and incompetent. I went in for a physical and he disregarded and rolled his eyes whenever I spoke. He prescribed me with antibiotics without even explaining why. I have no trust in this physician at all and will not be returning or using anything he prescribed.
