Dr. Parul Walia Singh, MD

3 Bad Expereience's, First being, staff called me to schedule an appointment because I had not been seen. When I first Met Dr. Singh she asked how my blood sugar was, her records indicated I was a Diabetic which I am not. I had blood work to confirm and as I told her I was not. Scheduled an appointment waiting over two months to have her staff call to move it two days prior. Third time I made an appointment for health concerns and the staff made it for a completely different reason. Being Ill with a Sinus infection and I declined the other reason as to why her staff scheduled me an appointment, she refused service until I had my annual and was then required to go to Urgent care for antibiotics. Safe to Say, she is not a doctor I will be visiting again.

Unethical Money grab. I am The wife writing this on behalf of my husband; we have been patients with Dr. Singh for 3 years. I asked for an appt for my spouse to see if he can get prescription minoxidil. They offered a virtual Consult and I accepted since my husband was on a work trip. I even asked them if we should go straight to a derm or is it something she could write a prescription for. They claimed they would need to see my husband first. Dr. Singh gave a 5 minute consult virtually and told him she couldn’t see his scalp- you would think after doing so many virtual consults you would know you can’t see a person’s scalp over video. She then said she could refer him, but we have the type of insurance that allows us to go directly to specialty care physicians. They said the appt was billable which we found to be a joke. How can someone even call that an appt? She already knew she could do absolutely nothing. After trying to talk directly to dr. Singh (kept avoiding us, “out for… lunch” “out for The day” never called back). I didn’t even want her to not bill, I said can he just come in for a real visit and we can count that? They said nope that would be separate- to see the SAME thing they would charge again!! Crazy they even suggested for us to come again for the same thing when they know they will refer regardless. Finally the office manager had a gaslight of a speech prepared. Said placer county derms are overwhelmed so we NEED a referral even if our insurance allows us to go directly to specialty care (B.S.!) I just called 2 Derms in their area and got availability, one as early as next week and one end of February! I even told the office manager we were in Sacramento county so that doesn’t affect us. She said it was legally and ethically Billable and I said it might be legal but it surely wasn’t ethical. We had been her patients for 3 years and to be treated like we’re just people she can fool into making a quick buck…. Really sad and just goes to show how the medical system in the U.S. is a hot mess with Doctor’s like Parul Singh.

She literally did not want to talk about why I came in. I tried explaining to her that the past 10 years I have struggled with really bad arthritis in both of my legs and it's getting worse. I also tried explaining that in my medical past the Dr.s I've seen would just send me away with a topical cream and ibuprofen. And I put emphasis on the word "tried" because I couldn't get a word in without being immediately interrupted. I kept getting interrupted because I let her know I eat medical marijuana gummies and take ibuprofen for my leg pain. On my paper work they ask you the medical history of your parents, right? I was honest and put all of my mom's history that I knew of. My father left when I was two and the only thing I ever knew of him was that he lived a fast lifestyle and that he was an addict. So all I put for my father's medical history was: Addict. One, she literally saw on the paper work: "Father's History: Addict". Two, she put "two and two together". And I kid you not she… tried to rip me a new one when it came to my gummies. Saying my father was an addict and I don't want to fall in his footsteps.. Um excuse me what? I am here for my legs and she is literally trying to "rip me a new one" because I consume marijuana gummies and I need to stop before I become like my father. I tried telling her that because I literally haven't been prescribed anything from doctors all I've had was ibuprofen and gummies for my swollen legs. She really did skip over my mothers medical history I wrote on my paper work which showed my mom had a history with bad legs as well. I told her about my double amputee grandmother who also had bad legs and I told her about my grandmother's sister and how she was also an amputee. And when I say I "told" her I mean I was telling her this while she was talking through me talking about my father, his addiction. A random man, whom I haven't seen since I was two years old, his addiction and my gummies was all she when in on me with. At the end of it all she then scheduled me for a PAP smear, like???? I was there for my knees not my vagina?? For my health I would never visit her again. My life is too valuable to trust what she'd do to me medically.

Blessing to be her patient. She is so kind and very knowledgable and always on time. I had to wait in my prior doctors office for more than 30 minute but she respects your time. Does annual physicals and we are always informed about our results by office staff.

I have been seeing her for more than a year and she has been so thorough every time I see her. She diagnosed my cancer and got me treated. She was with me all along. My entire family is her patient and we are blessed to have her as her family physician. Highly recommended doctor in town.

Im 82 and have been seeing Dr Singh for 4 years. She is thoughtful and caring. She follows up with me and makes sure my medications are up to date.

Last year, I was in so much pain that decided to make an appt to see Dr. Singh. She did a pelvic exam and I was told that everything was fine. Next day, I was in excruciating pain and called to make another appointment to have her check me again. She did another pelvic exam, again, I was told that everything was fine and was told I had a UTI. She also insinuated that all the pain and worry was in my head. Fast forward to now, my pain is worse so I booked another appointment, yet again I was not being heard. I decided to take matters into my own hands and see a gynecologist. The gynecologist made a thorough exam and listened to my symptoms. They did an ultrasound and found a mass in my uterus. Dr. Singh should have made the effort to make a better diagnosis or referred me to a gynecologist. If you are looking for a decent doctor, I do not recommend her.
