Dr. Parvez Khan, MD

After waiting with my dad for 4 hours waiting to here results about serious diagnosis of my dads lung cancer, we were finally taken to the back. Waiting another 40-50 laters we finally got to see him. He came in to tell us results of the pet scan, he did a VERY brief review of the results and didnt even mention the pet scan until we brought it up. He then went on to diagnos my dad with mesothelioma, in the middle of our serious discussion he feels it was appropriate to answer a personal phone call, going on for around 5-10 mins while we waited. These poor actions are so disgusting and disrespectful my whole family felt disrespected after my sister got upset by his actions and the way he was talking to my father (like he was and dying and belittling him) she left the room. He went on to say that she would no longer be allowed at his office, rest assure that the only reason she was upset was because my father was being treated so poorly. I mentioned that it was not okay for him to take… phone calls after the hassle we went through to see him, he states that his family is more important than mine and that he is not in the wrong. I let him know that would never be the case and the patients are the reason he has a job. He told us that we were no longer welcome in his office, as if we would ever want to be treated by someone who is so uncaring and biggoted. When the staff agrees with us is when you know this is a problem. I hope that no one takes their family here one of the most stressful days of journey this far unfortunately i feel like he has taken advantage of his position.

The office staff is horrible in the office's. I'm sure Dr.Khan has no idea how his patience's are being treated!It has been a week for a return call,called again yesterday told the same thing I would get a return call about a urgent matter still no return call from his nurse as of today.I have called 3 different times with no care in the world by his office staff.Made a complaint with Beaumont Hospital today,they are taking care of the situation and giving me the info I needed,I pick it up in the morning.There also very rude the way they speak to his patient's. They do not need to be working in a doctors office!!!

Awesome doctor!!!! Really cares and helps the ENTIRE family through such a difficult time!

THE DOCTOR WAS GREAT IN THE HOSPITAL; ONCE WE WENT TO THE OFFICE THE FRONT STAFF WERE NOT HELPFULL AT ALL, VERY RUDE, DR DIDNT WANT TO HELP WOTH ANY MEDICAL PAPERS FOR WORK. FRONT DESK STAFF SAID CANCER DONT HURT QUIT BEING A BABY. THE WAIT WAS OVER 3 HOURS FOR A APPOINTMENT. ONCE THE DOCTOR BECAME HEAD OF THE DEPARTMENT FOR OAKWOOD HIS HEAD FILLED WITH AIR HE DIDNT CARE about the patient.. this dr is horrible and would never recommend him to anyone!!

A great Doctor providing the best care by a Doctor I have ever seen. Will spend as much time with you as you need. Very caring and outstanding bedside manor. Was always there when my girlfriend/fiance was going through treatments. We can't thank him enough or the support of his staff.

I see Dr. Khan for my anemia, he's been patient and kind, always available to answer any questions I or my family have, thank you so much just for being the kind of person you are.
