Dr. Parviz Kalimi Yeroushalmi, MD

Very unprofessional, he got aggravated because I asked him to complete a form for work, I was told he doesn’t like paperwork & that I could find another provider.

This doctor is seriously unprofessional. The fact that everything is done via Skype chat should be a red flag alone. My son is currently seeing him, and in the time he has talked with him, he has yelled at, doubted, and treated him as if he were a child. It appears he can not even keep a simple record of the medicines he prescribes. A healthy doctor-patient relationship is key to the progression of mental/physical health, and it is quite clear it can NOT be found here. Don't waste your time with this man.

Firstly he "treats" you via video call. This completely takes away any chance you have of having a personal connection between doctor and patient. He also will randomly leave the chat and leave you sitting there in silence. No warning or anything. This makes it difficult to try and talk to him because you have to quick blurt out everything before he leaves. Plus he never asks questions so it's hard to have an actual nice productive session. He also is extremely rude. He won't listen to what you have to say, and he thinks he's above you. If your profession is dealing with a vulnerable population, maybe learn how to respect and listen to people. Please don't waste your time, he will make you feel so much worse.

I was surprised when I went to the NJ office and he wasn’t there. He’s in CA so all interaction is through “teledoc” type services. I believe they should let you know this beforehand. I wouldn’t have wasted my time. He changed all my meds even though I am feeling ok . He asked me a couple of questions, did not want any of my records and just prescribed 4 new meds. This doctor in NJ is not worth your time or money!!!!

Doctor refused to treat me, refused to return my medical records to me when I asked for them, and communicated with me on Skype via a laptop in his NJ office while he was physically all the way in CA during my appointment in his NJ office. When I told him I would be contacting authorities in the medical field to file formal grievances against his possibly unethical and illegal actions during my visit, he called me a "trouble maker." Very unprofessional, shady, and possibly criminal. This was my first and last visit to this doctor; he also had the nerve to say that he seriously doubted he'd ever be able to meet me in person in New Jersey; he made this comment within the first 3 minutes of my long distance appointment with him; how convenient doc!

Dr. Yeroushalmi is kind and gentle and takes time to listen, great Psychiatrist!

This doctor cares and takes a lot of notes and asks a lot of questions. He is exactly what I expect from a doctor. He's not the most cheerful person, but he really listened, and he gave me nearly everything I needed. Although he assured me that he can give me more when we meet again if what we have right now doesn't work out. It's in a beautiful area, the reception Marie, is fantastic, and there's a rite aid nearly next door that you can fill your scripts at. So far he's a great doctor but we'll see how my next appointment goes.
