Dr. Patience Harriet Reading, MD

Dr. Reading is a wonderful diagnostician. She listens and considers every symptom to get to a diagnosis. She cares and wants to make sure you get the care you need for the right problem.

Impaient and inflexible

In giving my previous review further thought, I believe it was posted rather unfairly. Dr. Reading was trying to ascertain a proper diagnosis and perhaps did not find that I presented with typical symptoms. I do not plan to return but found that she has a pleasant bedside manner. I simply did not find that she understood the symptoms as I presented them which does not make her incompetent as I previously stated; that was rather unfair and I wish I could retract those comments. I have given her a 5 star review in hopes of balancing my previous review. My sincere apologies.

Dr. Reading is pleasant to your face but will report that you have psychogenic spells if she doesn’t understand your symptoms that appear on an EEG. It is highly advisable that you see another Dr. She is highly incompetent and her nursing staff is rude. Please do yourself a favor and find another neurologist.

Thanks for not helping me at all and acting like I was “imagining “ my pain. Unbelievable!

I read the reviews of this doctor and thought I would be in good hands. Wrong. I don't feel like she listened to me at ALL. She waived away my symptoms and concerns like I was overreacting. I have had these symptoms for 10 months, I know that they are real and a Dr in her office that I saw a couple weeks later saw that as well. I wouldn't see her again if you paid me

Dr. Reading has been available, affable, and consistent in her treatment of me. She has allayed any fears that I might have some sort of dementia and I have been surprised that OTC Liquid Vit.B has diminished my nerve pain considerably. Her staff is also friendly, helpful and I have never waited for than an hour to hear from them.

I recommend Dr Reading wholeheartedly. She diagnosed my condition where a string of prior Neurologists had failed to do so. She is caring, attentive, and knowledgeable.

Dr. Reading is a wonderful doctor. She's knowledgeable and really takes the time to listen to what's going on with you. Her staff is also excellent. Michelle, the nurse who works with her, is extremely responsive and communication between doctor, nurse, and patient is seamless.
